Will they be usable with the psvr 1?

The only thing I don't like about this controller is that side button next to the trigger. There's one like that on the Oculus Touch controllers and I keep accidentally pushing it when I'm just trying to grip the controller. When that button drops or unequips your weapon (like in Until You Fall) it becomes a problem.

So I have a ps5 and so now since I had that I thought might as well go for the new gen items and now there is THIS and I’m pretty sure the Sony gods have heard us and given this new controller of fun and I have a psvr and if this controller come out I am definitely gonna grab it only problem is I have a feeling that it’s gonna be like the ps5 and Xbox series x where it’s gonna be out of stock for like 50 weeks

I’m kinda bummed that there are no hand straps that’d allow you to release the grips, just wrist strings to keep them from falling to the ground.

That said, I’ll be thrilled just to have reliable tracking. 😝

I think they should make the rings out of rubber so that any collisions that happen will be soft. Even with the Moves I banged myself in the headset once in a while, but they just go “boing”.

So its probably wont be compatible with the current psvr headset, which is a real shame to be honest :<

If Psvr2 is backwards compatible I’m gonna be even happier as waiting for Psvr2 before I get Ps5, currently happy with Quest 2 & virtual desktop, steam & rift games, my 2 psvr’s collecting dust currently

The controller looks better than the dual sense. I thought this was fake until I looked at PS Twitter. They announced that they have acquired EVO, then new PSVR controllers then Project Athia name then new outer worlds dlc.

I'll be buying. I quit playing psvr because of the frustration picking things up etc. With moves. VR hand controls are more difficult than the actual gameplay. 15min. Trying to pick up a key is rediculas

if the old psvr works on ps5 does that mean I can buy the new controllers, use my old headset on the ps5, and play the new games?

You know the more I think about these controllers the more I think that one of their best features is that they have the exact same buttons as the Dualsense. This will allow game devs to smoothly export their Dualsense control scheme to the ?move2? I think if they had more or less it would be needless extra headache for developers. I wonder if we'll even be able to use them with any game whatsoever, minus their motion control features. So excited!

Not enough buttons..... missing dpad which is used for extra buttons in some flat games and no touchpad that i can see.....
Making controllers with less buttons is a step back if you ask me.
