briiilliaaant thank you soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much
ОтветитьGold!
ОтветитьI would have liked it to be a bit more visual, showing the graphs at each step. Thanks for the effort though.
ОтветитьAbsolutely crisp and clear! Kudos, Venkat!
ОтветитьThanks for the great explanation
Ответитьsir thankyou so much ..........for the explanation
ОтветитьGreat Explanation!
ОтветитьThank You Sir
Ответить👏👏👏
Ответитьbrilliant explanation!
ОтветитьIam trying in MySQL workbench, it is showing error. How to resolve it tell me bro
Ответитьwow this was super helpful!! Thanks a lot for explaining this in such simple way
Ответитьvery nice explanation and would love your videos. Thanks Venkat
ОтветитьBest explanation. Great Job and Thank you Venkat.
ОтветитьQuestion: In the outer Query, What would happen if you used the Employee Table instead of the CTE table for joining? Wont the result be the same?
Also calling CTE table twice in the JOIN, does that mean the recursion happens twice?
I searched for this topic one hour all tutorials are just hard to understand but yours make it easy ...
Thanks...
Hi Venkat, Thank you so much for explaining the recursive CTE in detailed manner. I just have a doubt though , what happens if we do not use UNION ALL operator and is it mandatory to use. Please explain. Thank you
Ответитьsuperb explaination kep it up
Ответитьexceptional definitive explain, thank you
ОтветитьWonderful
ОтветитьThe way you describes is just best . And you are Doing all the things for free . Thank you for all these Sir . 🙂
ОтветитьGreat explanation. Thank you!
Ответитьwhen I first saw the video I had doubts to watch it, because I thought it is like other videos and don't have a deep explanation of how recursive works, but after watching I saw the differences and how clearly you explained this complex subject. THANKS VERY MUCH
ОтветитьThanks for the great explanation. This is best ever.....
Ответитьthat explanation was excellent
thank you sir
Nice tutorial , Thank you Mr.Kudvenkat ❤️
ОтветитьHi Venkat, thank you for making such easy to understand videos.
Could you please make one video on recursive CTE to handle the case when employeeID and ManagerID are same?
Where are you now yaar. May be you are in too big position to make videos for us
Ответитьabsolutelly best explanation ever
ОтветитьThis explanation is perfect. Thanks!!!
ОтветитьGoodOne!
ОтветитьHi Venkat, one word I can say about you, you are amazing man! Please dont stop SQL SERVER video tutorials
ОтветитьTried many tutorials but this one is gem. God bless you Venkat. I have no words to admire you :)
ОтветитьSuper useful, thanks!
ОтветитьHi venkat,
Please explain below query:
with cte(ID,Itemname,Catid,TotalQuantity)
AS
(
Select 1,Itemname,1,Quantity from Item
Union all
select ID+1,Itemname,Catid+1,TotalQuantity from cte
where Catid+1 <= TotalQuantity
)
Select * from cte order by Itemname,ID
How does the above recursive CTE query works? Below is the Table structure:
CREATE TABLE ITEM
(
Itemname VARCHAR(10),
Quantity INT
)
INSERT INTO ITEM(Itemname,Quantity) values('Apple',2)
INSERT INTO ITEM(Itemname,Quantity) values('Orange',3)
For every matching selection in "recursive member" query (2nd part), the CTE table gets refreshed in course of Sql JOIN check, until condition invalidates due to null.
ОтветитьI love you.
ОтветитьBy FAR the best explanation I have seen about a topic. Thank you sr.
ОтветитьIt was Awesome.
ОтветитьSir Best explanation Recursive CTE. Best video (y).
ОтветитьThe best explanation on Recursive CTE, step by step !!
ОтветитьWhat a good job explaining this! Thanks so much!
ОтветитьExcellent. Thank you so much
Ответитьwonder who these 8 assholes are who have disliked this video.
this guy explained it so well
The best CTE explanation
ОтветитьCrystal clear! Thank you!
ОтветитьThis video is a treasure. It was massively helpful, thank you.
ОтветитьNice explanation, thanks
Ответитьwon't the below give you the same result
SELECT
(e.first_name || ' ' || e.last_name) employee,
(m.first_name || ' ' || m.last_name) manager
FROM
HR.employees e
LEFT JOIN HR.employees m ON
e.manager_id= m.employee_id
where e.employee_id=101
; why to use recursive CTE?
