This was one of the saddest flops ive ever experienced. An avengers game sounds amazing and has the capability of being one of the greatest games ever made. Instead we got this peace of garbage. I didn’t even finish the main story cuz I got sick of it half way thru. And I’m a die hard marvel/DC fan. I’m currently on a quest to read every single main marvel and dc comic. As well I’m also Trynna watch every single animated movie and TV show from both marvel and DC. I ain’t some casual. So this game being such a dud really saddened me

Honestly people said this game was awful so it was a low bar, but when I played it on xbox cloud gaming, I actually had some fun. It's not great, but it was fun.

The main issue with the story line to anyone actually defending the story, Is that Ms Marvel is so fucking boring…. don’t lead a Marvel game with the Avengers label on it, to only play the majority of the story with a character who’s barely even known when so many better other options are available that could of taken the reigns instead, but like you send she was so generic, boring and irritating at times, you just felt you couldn’t invest in her as you just wanted to hurry up and play with the actual Avengers. Shame as it had so much potential. Thank god Square Enix actually saved grace with Guardians Of The Galaxy as that game was brilliant, from game play to story. So thankfully they learnt their lesson, Shame it took this game to absolutely bomb for them to learn that lesion. I did invest so much time in this game I’m embarrassed to admit and did play all the DLC’s but one….. ironically I kept invested as I wanted Spider-Man, but after having to wait so long for him to drop, I lost interest and never gone back to it, and everyone I’ve heard playing his DLC has absolutely panned it. So that was annoying people buying this on PlayStation to get your access to our fav web head, only to not be released until after most people walked away.

The game is officially getting the plug pulled

They should of been different from the mcu. They could of taken notes from “Earths Mightiest Heroes”. They Should the OG Team: Iron man, Ant-man, The Wasp, Thor and Hulk. Have the team grow with more characters in order like in the comics and be more comic book accurate. Have them fight their classic villains like Loki, The Masters Of Evil, Kang etc. Don’t be like the movies.

Crystal Dynamics couldn't even fix their Marvels Avengers servers before they decided to give up on the game. When you get a lobby in quick match it will automatically kick everyone from the lobby and say something like it failed or some shit. It's crazy, if only they could've waited just one more year then release their game. Bugs would've probably been polished and all they would have to do is put content into the game, but no they dropped the game early and it was disappointing.
No Content at all in this game we needed Patrol Mode we needed more Raids and Omega Level Threats we needed heros who weren't the same as the other. 2 Thors 2 Hawkeyes 2 Captain Americas is wild.
I don't why they decided to make ugly recolored skins and sell them to people when those could just been earned in game and suits like MCUs could be bought.

Idk.. I could go on but it's a dead game now.
Stupid people who worked on this game had no idea what to do with Marvel and their characters.

It’s still the best Marvel avengers game that exists. Just enjoy it.

The only things I actually disliked was the criminally repeated level design and the fact that ur gear didn’t have any effect on appearance

We still have a $250 collector’s edition at the Gamestop where I work. It’s not even in the locked case anymore, because if it gets stolen, well, it’s not like it was ever going to sell anyway.

Spiderman PS4 was a game with a fun opening and everything gradually got better, one of the best games I've played. Avengers game was the opposite, fun opening, but gradually got worse until it got too repetitive and boring to play, one of the worst console games I've played. Perfectly balanced

The funniest thing for me was the people defending this game at launch, they were blinded by their horrible purchase choices
