Thank you, I actually feel confident and cleaning my own sensors now.
ОтветитьNow we need one for lenses. But also some recomended brands for it. I've bought some kits that seemed a bit flimsy. Even with Zeiss wipes it leaves dust and sometimes just smears the grease. The microfiber cloth works ok until it's washed or until it gathers enough grease... Haven't really found a good solution.
ОтветитьWhat if your sensor is like a one inch or 2/3 sensor size, what size do we use? I only see 4/3, APS-C and full frame cleaning swabs.
ОтветитьLove this type of info and advice. Mahalo for this...
Ответитьwhat about cleaning more difficult filters like on the Canon C70? I keep trying to clean it, but I'm leaving residue on the filter
ОтветитьAlways entertaining! Thanks for the reminder!
ОтветитьWhat happened to you? You used to be so active then you just dropped off…
ОтветитьThis was MONNNEYYYY
ОтветитьWhat 4k camera you will recommend, if i don't wana use colour grading to make it look better?
Not for filming just for events recording
Record and upload?
I am writing for review insta action camera ace pro
ОтветитьI swear man your content whether I’m sad or happy or about to workout. I can watch it anywhere. Your character and the way you carry yourself is humble, fun and informative.
ОтветитьDude, just get to a million already. You post so much of the useful stuff plus it's so entertaining. I'm a musician, I have nothing to do with cameras except for making videos for my channel. I still watch all your videos.
ОтветитьWhy not just spray the sensor with a can of compressed air? to blow away the dust? any harm in that?
ОтветитьPlease make a video with New Rf 24-105 f2.8
ОтветитьIt’s wise to hold your camera with the sensor facing down allowing gravity to take the particles away from the inside of the camera body when blowing it out.
ОтветитьI started doing this 7 years ago literally my 3rd 4th month of any experience 😂😂😂😂 it’s not bad
ОтветитьCan this guy hit 1M already !
ОтветитьJust use sand & pirana acid, epsecially if its a Sony Venice
ОтветитьPUT YOUR DJI POCKET 3 ON A FPV DRONE please
ОтветитьWe need to get Potato Jet to 1milli already wtf!!!
ОтветитьRode finally got wise and produced transmitters with subdued branding. I don't like the shiny surface though, again, distracting the audience.
ОтветитьMustache = no
Also, can you share how to clean a lens easily?
Welcome to open heart surgery tutorial!
ОтветитьI was enjoying watching this video, but sadly I had to stop due to the blasphemy... 😓😓
ОтветитьFirst time seeing someone call APS-C 'App See'
Ответить$40???? Smh these used to be $10-20 lol
ОтветитьSo it sounds like IBIS doesn't matter? Whether its on or off you can still clean the sensor?
ОтветитьThis guy is legendary by saying APP-See!
ОтветитьCould you do one on cleaning glass as well
ОтветитьI wish that single-use swab uses a reel spool like the ribbon in a typewriter. That throw away system is so anti-environment.
ОтветитьExcellent video. Always love Gene's humor. I continue to be fearful of cleaning my camera sensor myself. This helps so much to give me a bit of confidence to go ahead and do it. Many thanks to you both.
ОтветитьPersonally I’d avoid what looks like the ‘Pancro Lens Cleaner’ (I believe on the table next to the Kimtech (green) lens tissues).
Pancro is Isopropyl Alcohol (from their MSDS), and this can damage coatings on the front element of lenses.
I understand that it’s often easy to use this mid production, but where possible (or I’d recommend): air, soft brush, & lastly, distilled water with cotton swabs (in small circular motions from the centre outwards), has been my go to. It’s not necessarily a quick process, but as said in this video, the less you touch the glass (with anything! And that includes a cleaning processes), the better.
Thanks for a cool video on lens cleaning 🙌
So funny, I just brought my camera in to get my sensor cleaned today. I'm such a coward.:-) I'm going to do it myself next time
Ответитьpretty sure that your supposed to apply 2 drops to each side of the swab. not leave one side dry
ОтветитьWould this also apply to cleaning the lenses as well? I’m assuming it does?
Ответитьmy anexity was kinda high watching this and thinking oh no what if the torch light slips and hits the sensor ...
Ответитьso close to Million Subs
ОтветитьI second that statement about the shelf life of the cleaning solution! Oh man, I had some troubles recently when I had to clean an Alexa35 sensor glass with a bad fluid that would not clean for the life of me. I ended using up 8 swaps and had only two left. It was horrible because I did it the late evening before the shoot and had no other cleaning fluid. I had to sort to 93% denatured bioethanol from the local late-night mart. Not the best, but the sensor glass got clean without any residue.
ОтветитьIf you always use the same lens, can the sensor still get dirt on it?
ОтветитьThis is helpful Gene. Hopefully I won't damage my lens and my sensor with the help of this video. 👍
ОтветитьSubtle expertise right here in carefully hiding the mics.
ОтветитьThank you!!!!!!!
Ответить5 minutes straightforward, nice!
ОтветитьDo clean lenses next✌🏼
Ответитьanxiety level 10 😵
ОтветитьURSA mini is uncleanable. Once dust gets behind the variable ND array it’s full disassembly time 😢
ОтветитьThank you sooooo much, that looked easy AF, and I was terrified of this project 😅
ОтветитьThis was embarrassingly helpful thank you.. Much simpler than I was thinking. And I didn't know about the glass Over the sensor. Makes sense
