where did i get it right and where'd i get it wrong?
ОтветитьTacos, the most overrated food on the planet. LOL
ОтветитьThailand is overrated and becoming more and more expensive. Decent hotel can't be initially found under $ 500 (when you're on the spot certainly could be cheaper BUT for longer-term stays which implies you got your visa settled - not tourist one - which is not either easy nor cheap). Food is cheap if eating local which is a no-go for me - Thai food is overrated too and not all healthy - not gonna go into details here. Bangkok and Southern sea resorts are price-wise nearly comparable to South Europe. Avoid things everybody's doing, there are other countries in the region that are not overpacked with tourists like Laos and Cambodia - real value lies there.
ОтветитьIn Cambodia you get 1 year visa roughly $200 unless it went up. You can start a small business by yourself 100% yours, no taxes on small profit you basically pay $10 after 3,4 months of running a business if you make money to register in local authorities. No government put their nose in your business, you don't need a local to own 51%. Shame you missed the easiest country to get a year visa and the one you can have a business by yourself. Everybody hearing South East Asia is automatically Thailand. In Philippines you can stay in the country for 3 years, you need to go to emigration for a stamp at the beginning i believe every 2 months and later every 6 months, all those stamps costs some money. You don't have to leave and country for 3 years. You can have a long 50 years land rental where you can build a house, perhaps have in a contract that if you have kids(with local passport)they have the rights to buy that land. There are countries you can live long without visa run and run a business. You just went to the obvious ones that aren't perfect. I highly recommend Cambodia Siem Reap.
ОтветитьFor rookie fo aisa but Latina American is more lit but u got know Spanish / know how to Move Asia is dummy proof 😅
ОтветитьHaha I came here because I'm starting next year as a digital nomad but the end was so funny because I'm from Medellín. 😂
I'm glad you liked the paisas 😁
letsgo!
ОтветитьI would rather go to Medellin than Thailand but I'm worried about the safety in Medellin
Ответитьthanks man!
ОтветитьThank you for your video! I've spent almost one year in SEA and it's just a perfect place for me but yes, everything related to visa is a huge disappointment.
It's soooo difficult to move to SEA forever unless you're a 50+ retiree or married a local. Unfortunately getting a residence permit is almost impossible there. Starting your business or buying property means owning only 49% of it. Remaining 51% should be owned by a local. There are no such restrictions in LA, and you can even get a passport in 3-6 years. That's why I'm inclined towards LA. But safety question makes me hesitate a lot.
P.S. I came here from reddit :)
This is the best LATAM vs S.E Asia comparison video I've seen lad, thank you for uploading.
ОтветитьLooks like southeast asian wins in many categories
ОтветитьCan vouch about SEA. Have money but still get visa headaches. Thinking about LA.
