50% of retail price for wholesale is industry standard.

Licensing is usually between 2-20% depending on the client and product. This is with the company producing the actual product.

Some fabric companies try to do 1-2% - super low. 😢

Great video! Question: How do you estimate the sales of the licensure so that you would know that your royalty percentage is correct?

I would love to hear more about exclusive vs non exclussive licenses. Do exclusive licenses just cover one type of product? I was under the imptession that an exclusive license would mean we can't use the image for anything else until the contract is up. Thanks in advance!
