I have 7 journals I've created already
I want to know if I can post them (the same jornal)on all this sites
Or if it's different book per site
anyone tried lulu? Can you guys tell me if you got sales on low and medium content books through lulu bookstore or distribution. Ngl lulu seems promising but need some reviews.
ОтветитьHey Dale! I'm planning on self-publishing journals with my original artwork on the covers and maybe some in the interior. My goal is to make these journals unique and not just full of blank pages. I was wondering if I should copyright my original artwork, because I worry about people possibly trying to copy my artwork. I also don't know how to go about filing a copyright for original artwork, I know how to copyright my books.
ОтветитьJust found your fantastic channel and have no experience publishing. Am interested in publishing a photography book (my photos) with poetry ( my friend). Does that fall within low content?
Ответитьwow wow, thank you so very much sir....all in one place info, i've been watching all the horror stories of being terminated on kdp....tons of work and folks are devasteted. thank you for hope and options to monopoly amazon. :>)
ОтветитьA warning: I had over 2000 low content books on Amazon KDP. The account was closed for “copyright infringement”. My work was original, not a copy, but because I said it was “inspired by” a long dead artist the account was shut down. I kept appealing, and they finally said it was shut down in error and reinstated it. A month later It was shut down again for the same reason on another book. I am appealing again, and getting rejections. I doubt if the appeals are even read. KDP is a heartless machine that will search for any reason to shut you down. You are not given the option to correct the so-called error, the account is simply closed forever. You cannot access it for reports of previous sales, and you will not receive any royalties due you. I am trying to decide where else to publish my journals. Does anyone have a recommendation?
ОтветитьCould you do a review of Vervante?
ОтветитьI'm checking out Book Bolt now, thanks to this video. I'm impressed!
ОтветитьI work as a legal proofreader for court reporters and am adding low content and medium content books to help me with passive income for retirement and investment. I've been shopping around several different channels and I really really appreciate both this video, as well as several others of yours that I have watched. Just wanted to express my gratitude and let you know that my notebook is filling up fast. 😁
ОтветитьI was floored with lulu paperback print quality. If I had to chose its lulu, Barnes and noble then Amazon.
ОтветитьGreat conrent, fully loaded with information! Thanks a lot, God Bless@
ОтветитьThanks again Dale... your information is always so helpful!!! Blessings, Christine C. Sponsler
ОтветитьThank you sir
ОтветитьYou are so helpful! Thank you Dale ♥️
ОтветитьAwesome content, Dale!
ОтветитьInteresting. I was looking at having my paperbacks available somewhere else besides Amazon.
ОтветитьHey Dale, I was looking at ingramsparks as one of the places to publish the children’s book I wrote. I read somewhere that they require you to have a legit company to publish on there. Is this information accurate or can I publish on there without having a company? Thanks
Ответитьbrother I love how you have changed the way you are doing your videos, high energy :)
Ответитьyou mean Igram Sparks, sorry I had to go there brother :)
Ответитьhey brother LOL yoga paints LOL. hope yall are doing good love you guys :)
Ответить🟠Thank you for all your hard work!🟠
ОтветитьOffset printing - haven't tried it but it looks to me that distribution would be a serious time sink and expense unless you can get a distributor. The DIY option might seem fine until you take a week or two off in the summer or get sick. With other options everything keeps going on autopilot. When I did a quick assessment re KDP, it made me realise you're actually getting good value for money with Amazon because of all the stuff they do for you - including dealing with returns and getting the books out in a couple of days instead of a weeks when you're doing it yourself and off kayaking down the Grand Canyon
ОтветитьKDP allows custom trim sizes. I did a couple of 6x4in pocket puzzle books even though that's not on their standard trim size list. The downside with small books is that the cost is the same so the buyer's perceived value for money isn't so good. Also I've noticed the trim can be a little iffy, and the smaller the book, the more noticeable that is.
ОтветитьThanks Dale...this is awesome information. Notebooks from KDP are garbage...good to know there are alternatives.
ОтветитьThank you Dale!
Is there anything else that I should do after uploading my books to Ingramspark, Lulu and Barnes & Noble, in order to get these platforms to distribute my books?
Did you really say 4-8 weeks for a customer to get their book?
ОтветитьValuable information once again. Thanks Dale.
ОтветитьYou had hair when you were scratching your head?
