GAME SINS | Everything WRONG With Spider-Man 2

You're right, in the comics Venom is weak to High Frequency Noise, Fire, Electricity (Miles would have kicked his ass0, and other Symbiotes.
The developers felt this was way to many weaknesses, and decided to just keep one...

To answer your other two questions
#1. Why Dr. Conners and not just someone else? The Lizard is more than just a giant lizard, he has all of Dr. Conners intelligence as well, which makes for the lethal combination of the two. Though it doesn't show as much in this game.
#2. Where does things Venom swallows goes? This was addressed in the comics, it's basically fed intravenously into the host's stomach for digestion. When (Agent) Venom ate Deadpool, he quickly puked back up everything in his stomach because of how awful Deadpool tasted. Then when he powered down, Flash (the host of Venom at that time) mentioned how he could still taste Deadpool.

I hate these "sins" videos nowadays because it's so obvious the video creator is nitpicking at the slightest detail with no context just to rack up the counter instead of just focusing on the actual bad parts. Like yeah I agree with a lot of what he picked out, but you could easily take out 50+ because they're either self-explanatory if you think about it for more than 3 seconds or they're literally explained in the game. For example: Kraven bought a specific flower that makes him immune to Scorpion's venom, which Peter says he tried to get but it was too expensive for him. Or the Sandman comment in the beginning... if you swing around the city as you progress through the first third of the story or so you can see the amount of sand slowly decrease, and they mention the impact it had in multiple conversations in the beginning of the game. Example in the common sense area: Kraven isn't going bald from chemo because he's taking his super soldier serum that's also enhancing his height, weight, and strength. If you use more than 3 brain cells you can piece that together. Another one is that Harry clearly named the lab after his mother and Peter's aunt one to show their connection with helping people and their impact and two to further persuade Peter into coming on board because he'd feel more compelled to do so with May's name on it. Even if Peter didn't approve of it and didn't want to come on, you don't need permission from someone's family member to put said person's name on a title, and he can change the name if Peter was so insistent on May's name not being on it. I'm not saying this whole video is wrong or awful, but it would be much more enjoyable if you did a little research/thinking into some of the "sins".

Oh no robots

For as much as people dislike the MJ sections (myself included) I can sort of understand why the developers didn't just get rid of them all together. Simply getting rid of these sections would've been the easy way out; it wouldn't give the developers a chance to try and improve on them and make them less of a chore to get through. At least they made these sections more action packed by giving MJ a gun, and there's only 3 MJ stealth missions compared to the first games' 8 stealth missions.

Thank Christ someone else points out how stupid and dangerous the Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man app is. They only made it in Miles Morales because people complained about the police presence in the first game

Flash would be better candidate to be Venom than Harry, because he actually wears the suit in the comics and become an anti-hero for a while. And where is Eddie Brock? They could have used the Ultimate Spiderman lore, after all, Peter and Eddie father created the symbionte together, it wont be out the question that Eddie use it aftermath, and keep Harry being one of the Hogoblins.

Actually in the original comic the alien suit only weakest in high pitched sounds like rocket engine or church bells

So I steady jeep thinking…how come May didn’t leave anything in her will for this dude? Like MONEY. She left this man a whole 5K mortgage which I don’t understand how that’s that high…but she didn’t leave nothing behind for this dude?

Unlike many people, I am very lenient towards to how MJ looks in this game due to what happened to Stephanie Tyler Jones.
For context, in between games, Stephanie Tyler Jones (who has been the face for MJ since the first game) got into a very major accident that required her entire jaw to need to be reconstructed entirely, also needing more than 17 stitches.
Because of this, when they scanned her in for this game, MJ of course looks a little different. This coupled with the change in hairstyle, the little tweaks Insomniac added to make her seem slightly older than in the first game, the improved scanning tech sometimes yielding 'interesting' results + (in my opinion) her eyes becoming bright blue in certain lighting, and scenes makes her look a little creepy at times.

My biggest problem in this game is city residents. They dont react to things, they dont interact with spidey. For example you land on radnom roof with party no one evens notices you its like you dont exist or they dont exist so lazy. They dont react to carnage around them. You can find them staring at turned of TV-s. Lazy job. They focused more on woke agenda rather than city being awake.

In the Comics, Peter met Harry in College.
In the expanded universes, such as the games, it's usually explained that Harry purposely got himself kicked out private schools because he wanted to be a "Normal" kid.

So we’re just gonna not mention when ganke says “hey miles, get to that rooftop nearby” meanwhile miles is standing around more than a dozen buildings a few blocks over and just so happens to know exactly what building he was talking about with absolutely no questions or even a hint of hesitation

Miles is such a boring, needless character. Also, he’ll never be Spider-Man.

God this game was so obviously "Modern Day" infected you couldn't pay me to play it. Insomniac is lucky kids love Spider-Guy and these will always sell millions regardless of the endless trash scattered throughout the game.

Dartigan, the subtitles at the bottom of the screen have some pretty bad spelling mistakes.

I really do hate the lack of police in this game, on top of that I really feel like if harry never knew if peter wasnt spiderman this wouldve been more fueling for the venom arc

Btw the Venom shit was actually introduced back in the 5th Secret Wars, Spider-Man’s red, white, & blue suit got destroyed and Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic gave him a black suit which they later said was an alien symbiote. The reason Venom hates Spider-Man is because Spider-Man rejected it then it got with Eddie Brock, who worked at the Daily Buggel with Peter and got fired because of Peter so Eddie already hated Peter & that’s how Venom was created and became one of, if not, Spider-Man’s most iconic villain

The Spider-Legs were in the comics but they weren’t that OP

Miles does have the spider legs under certain suits

My only complaint was playing as Mary jane, i enjoyed the story and the gameplay was good for me.
