Some things struck me as very familiar. There is an amber fort in Rajasthan india. Same name. Same flute and other musical instrument. Serai word is used for inn here also. Strange. I would love to know more about pre Christian culture of armenia. Some things are very similar to Rajasthan.The stone carvings are very familiar. The love for jewellar, silver, metals. October 1827 - The Russian Empire annexes the Iravan Khanate, and includes its territory in the newly created Armenian region by decree of Tsar Nicholas I of March 21, 1828. Irevan is becoming a center of attraction for Armenian immigration.
- May 29, 1918 - The Azerbaijani Parliament (National Council), under pressure from the Entente member countries, is forced to cede the Azerbaijani city of Iravan to Armenia.
- 1918-1920 - The Armenian government is carrying out ethnic cleansing in Zangezur, with the aim of displacing Azerbaijanis from their ancestral lands. Military leaders Andranik and Nzhdeh partially liquidate and partially expel the Azerbaijani population from Zangezur. The Zangezur massacre of civilians was recorded by European journalists.
- On December 1, 1920, by decision and under pressure from Moscow, most of the Zangezur district of Azerbaijan was transferred to Armenia.
- February 18, 1929, by decision and under pressure from Moscow, the territory of Nakhichevan with an area of 657 km2 - the villages of Gurdbulag, Khoryadiz, Ogbun, Almaly, Itgyran, Sultanbey, Garsevyan, Kilid, etc., as well as the village of Nuvedi of the Zangelan region and 4400 hectares of forests of the Gazakh region transferred to Armenia.
- 1930. By decision and under pressure from Moscow, Aldara, Lekhvaz, Astazur and other settlements of Nakhichevan are transferred to Armenia, and the Meghri region is created on their basis.
- 1938. By decision and under pressure from Moscow, part of the Nakhichevan villages of Syadaryak and Karki are transferred to Armenia.
- 1947-1953. By decision of the leadership of the USSR, 150,000 Azerbaijanis moved from places of compact residence to Azerbaijan.
- 1969. By decision and under pressure from Moscow, the territory of Garagol in the Lachin region, the territory of Chayzemi in the Gubadli region, the territory of the village of Kamerli in the Gazakh region, and the territory of Zod in the Kelbajar region are transferred to Armenia.

- January 18, 1990. Armenian armed forces occupy the village of Karki of the Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic.
- August 8, 1991. The Armenian government is devastating the last village of Azerbaijanis, Nuvedi. The civilian population of the village is beaten and expelled from Armenia.
- On February 25-26, 1992, Armenian armed gangs, with the support of the 366th regiment of the Russian Army, attacked the city of Khojaly and committed genocide against Azerbaijanis.

My good friend Laura Gorgorian, now deceased, was born in Armenia and fled persecution in 1915 with her parents and siblings. They came to New York and on to Phoenix, Arizona where I met Laura. A beautiful, sweet, wonderful lady with a talent for sewing and entertaining with love and hospitality. She and relatives attended the Armenian Church in Scottsdale, Arizona. I miss her! Armenia is former Azerbaijan, Armenians were a very small minority on that territory until Russians won the war with Iran and took over that Azerbaijani part of Iran in 1828 Turkmenchay treaty. Armenians then were moved to that territory en mass, committed ethnic cleansing of Azerbaijanis over the years, demolished all their seven Mosques in the capital Irevan (the name was Irevan Khanate) and cultural heritage of Azerbaijanis. The only thing that is left form historical "artifacts" are abundance of stones that cannot be carbon dated and that they make in makeshift quarries all over Armenia. It is their favorite hobby to make "ancient" Armenian stones and shove them everywhere to later "prove" that it was their "ancestral land". they got caught in Soviet Union placing stones underwater in Crimea, Ukraine! Everything in Armenia presented as an Armenian artifact if a fabrication, just like the history itself. Armenia is recent name given to Christians who did not believe Mary was a virgin, so other Christians in Byzantine hated them and called where they lived Armenia, it is the name given too all people who belonged to that Christian sect. The Byzantines would spit on the ground when the passed through Armenia, it was an unholy land for them. The land of Chrtisitan who denied the very essense of Christianity. The nation called Armenians today, does not have the name Armenia in their language, they are called Hays, their country is Hayastan. These are tribal, nomadic people who were not mentioned in the BIble which means they have come to this side of the world much later, supposedly from India, just like gypsies who also came to Europe from India. Hay people lived in the MIddle East, Iran, Ottoman empire, Byzantine empire before that, we know nothing about them before that. They claim they are from Urartu but that is a huge lie because every historian on the face of this earth knows Urartu language is Chechen and has nothing to do with Hays (Armenians). Armenian language is modern and cultural heritage is a mixture of everyone they lived with over the centuries and l;after when they came to the Caucasus they appropriated the heritage of Azerbaijan and Georgia without even changing the names of things. Their music, even modern and classical, the names of the instruments and songs is a complete 100% copy of Azerbaijani music. Their cuisine is copied largely from Georgia and they didn't even mother changing names, which drives Georgians nuts! Also it is a mixture of Turkish, Arab and Azerbaijani.
