theres an engram that is an elevator that you control from the platform, i just tested it and its good. i dont know expence tho for i had it lying in my base for ages

my guess on why the elevators are like that is because they were thinking about gently lowering down player's mounts down from each area level, from the green area down to the blue, and from the blue area to the red area, but they semi forgot to make a good way of getting back up, and also they were focusing on the rock drakes, which can fly everywhere, which semi defeated the purpose of the elevator since you could fly to all of the locations.

so far I'm doing things solo, and crossbows on hills they can't climb seems to be sort of effective on a number of things, including the crabs

it took me forever to make my wooden elevator track as well, so i feel you, ugh back at my old base that i mentioned in the previous video, i did most of the work, i even had to get the materials for an industrial forge by myself

When Syntac was gliding and then fell and survived because he sort of slippeddown the rock, it reminded me of a time when I was playing ark when I was flying on a ptera and for some reason (I can’t remember why) I fell off. I looked down and I was certain I was dead. I took note of my surroundings so I could return to roughy the right are (this was before death beacons) and braced myself for the incoming squashing. I ended up hitting a slanted tree, which I slid down to the ground without a scratch. I whistled my ptera and continued flying back to my base.
