Super creepy video. I've been thinking Aibo might be a cute thing to try out, but this narrator and description turns me off. Look, I have two dogs, and I know they're simply little biologic "AI" machines that seek food and attention. However, this commercial reminds me of those old dystopian sci-fi movies where people are interacting only with machines. Hey, that's where big tech is taking us to. Black mirror...Matrix...that's where we're going. Just don't give me some bullshit about a servomechanical dog being alive and having feelings. At least not yet.

Sorry so late, but how come you felt the need to speed the playback up to show how fast this dog really isn't? It cannot run very fast at all. People that don't own one don't know this and they also don't know how heavy it is, which is why the movements are so slow. The motors and servos would burn out a lot quicker at higher speeds. Oh yeah! I almost forgot to mention that even at this slow speed the legs and hip joints fail because of all of the weight. Yes, the inner workings require so many different motors and servos and circuitry, etc., that it makes it quite heavy.

It is also quite expensive @$3000.00. But it doesn't stop there. People aren't aware of the fact that the "Cloud" services require a subscription that is quite costly. If you want to "Virtually" feed him you will need this service. So, if you aren't rich by any means of the term rich, then you probably should stay away from this. All of his accessories are very expensive also. Keeping in mind that his hip joints fail should send up a red flag. I bet the cost of repair is astronomical.

This year, 2022, Sony has come out with a new "Strawberry" color. Also, this year there is a new Cost added, it is the cost of a factory "Checkup" that is mandatory before you can purchase the Cloud service. WOW! Talk about a money black hole. Look it up.
