ОтветитьThank you!

ОтветитьThis explanation is god like, just like what infinitive can do, I mean infinitive can play infinite roles!
ОтветитьHow can we use infinitive as object compliment?
Can you give any example?
What is an example of a sentence with an infinitive clause? Can an infinitive clause begin with a subordinating conjunction? For example, in this sentence, "To visit Los Angeles so that you arrive on time requires a 5 hour drive," is the infinitive clause, "To visit...on time," due to the subordinating conjunction "so that" beginning the noun phrase up to but not including the verb, "requires"? Thanks.
ОтветитьIs it grammatically correct if I use both gerund and infinitive in same sentence, for example I want to learn singing...
ОтветитьI appreciate what you said in the last two minutes!
ОтветитьThis video is the best one about infinitives!
ОтветитьThank you so much 💓🥰
ОтветитьHi dear sir, Thank you for your good information. But dear sir there is a problem in describing infinitives as an object.
You said "I want to help you". You said in this sentence I is sub and want+to is infinitive as an object. If this is right then could you tell me what is You in this sentence.
Trying to learn French, and you are helping me (to learn) what I did not get in English class, thanks

Sir, the verb of an object infinitive is called a transitive verb or not?
Can an infinitive object go to the position of the subject to make it passive sentence?
I will remain very grateful to you if you answer, Sir...

ОтветитьThank you so much sir, this helps me a lot
ОтветитьWhat is the grammatical part of speech of 'to give' in both clauses? ( obj. complement or adv. or adj.)
1. I have something to give you.
2.I have bought something to give you.
Thanks sir,how I understand (to that)
Ответитьcan infinitive be a preposition object?
ОтветитьSo what's the difference of learning English and to learn english
ОтветитьVery well explained
Ответитьthank you
ОтветитьThe last ones show purpose
ОтветитьPlease tell us also about the use of infinitive to introduce parenthesis and use of infinitive in exclamatory sentences.
ОтветитьI appreciate your explanations. I have two questions before I share it with my students. Is the 3rd category of usage similar to the 1st in that we can also say "It's my dream to open a business?" or "It's her job to assist you." Can we generalize and say we can have a structure like it's noun adjective? Second, the 4th category is confusing to me as a non-native English teacher. If we consider "to wait" as an adjective in the sentence I told you to wait, what is "a secret" in the sentence " I told him a secret"? Thank you in advance.
