"the future is fundamentally uncertain but certainly exciting "...WOW!
ОтветитьWonderful!!!!
ОтветитьFantastic explanation!
ОтветитьIf a Quantum Computer is not a faster computer. Stop calling it a computer! Call it Quantum Leaper.
ОтветитьThis may be a dumb question but can someone explain to me the context of "winning" when it comes to flipping vs not flipping a coin? Like how does the player or quantum computer win? How is that a game? Does it win if it picks the opposite of what you pick?
Ответитьwhat is conclusion about Quantum computing ???
ОтветитьThis is an AWFULLY explained example. I still don’t understand how the computer won. I’m not a computer scientist, but a Mecganical Engineer who has done a fair amount of programming with Monte Carlo simulations using various distributions (the kinds of non-binary spectrums she mentioned). But I found her explanation so dam confusing. She’s so smug. She needs to learn to be much much more coherent and simplistic in her explanations. 10 minutes of my life wasted listening to this totally USELESS fool.
ОтветитьShe elucidates concepts she lacks comprehension of.
ОтветитьWell, I'm sold. Let's give Big Pharma the quantum ability to produce drugs to create problems that need drugs to solve them. Great idea, good track record. What could go wrong?
SMH.
It rarely fails to amaze me for how stupid humanity really is.
The theoretical coin flip game was not explained in any manner that helped me in the least. WHY was the ability to work with uncertainty helping the process to predict? How could it be flawless (ie, 100% win, excluding computer errors)?
ОтветитьThey can do this than they have the cure for cancer, and will not give it to the people
ОтветитьI’m so sick and wealthy people telling us we have security needs. That has always been the cry of the oppressor.
ОтветитьMore you know more you get wrong in theories... Congratulations for your new invention maybe in future.
Ответитьor used as a tool to destroy nature….
Ответитьi saw so many videos, even today wasn't able to understand the concept of qbit.
ОтветитьWe cannot fail on quantum computing. US must be supreme on quantum computing.
ОтветитьThe US must be at the front of quantum computing. Failure is not an option.
ОтветитьQuantum computing is a game changer. Can change economics, medicine, power. First country to control this rules the Earth.
ОтветитьLol
ОтветитьTerrible talk. Doesn't give any intuition on what a quantum computer actually is or does.
ОтветитьClearest explanation so far on QC
ОтветитьThis is why we don’t have two genders in this modern society, everything is fluid. Waiting for the Creator to straighten out the manufactured confusion.
ОтветитьSo then according to the Quantum computer, the probability of Heads in a coin toss game is no longer 50%,
because the entire game is biased towards the computer winning,
thus making it a prophet capable of projecting a future outcome
rather than a machine that accurately verifies the truth of the reproducible fact that the odds in a coin toss game are always 1/2? 🤔
Where does this leave one with our high school math? 😰
She's hot
ОтветитьJust a fleeting thought but. What if one day, we are able to code our reality through quantum computing? Like writing a video game program code, only it's for reality and not make believe.
Ответитьteleporting information breaks the law of quantum physics. you need to do two measurements - when sending info and when receiving. the first measurement will collapse the quantum system so the second measurement will show false result
ОтветитьI must appreciate Dr Ghose she explained quantum in a very simple way.
ОтветитьThe reason why the quantum computer had that high winning rate is because the game was played in its world. Secondly, it has full control over its world and knows how to get what it wants with what it has. Hence, it will always win any game it plays.
That is one major problem of humanity. Lack of absolute control over our world due to very high uncertainty about the future. That is why we plan but may still not achieve the desired target due to unforeseen circumstances.
This technology has so much potential!!!
So the computer cheated. Staying in superposition for the coin flip is not committing to a side. Not committing is not playing the game. This 50/50 coin flip was a terrible example at manifesting at superposition.
ОтветитьIt was more like the application of quantum computing rather than a beginner's guide
ОтветитьThis video did not provide an explanation how a quantum computer works.
ОтветитьThese people turn respectable physics into a playground for unserious actors who sell people empty dreams. No information can be transported faster than the speed of light. There is therefore no quantum tunnel to transport data faster than today's technologies can. She didn't speak about the data volume but explicitly that her quantum network can transport data faster.
ОтветитьQuantum = Scam
ОтветитьShe told the application but couldn't explain it clearly. Like if a normal computer works on Bits, then what's behind a Quantum computer? Photon? Particle duality?
Ответитьexcellent speech
ОтветитьHere's more easy explaination.
Imagine regular computers use bits to store and process information, where each bit can be either 0 or 1. Quantum computing, on the other hand, uses quantum bits, or qubits, which can represent 0, 1, or both at the same time. This is because of a property called superposition.
Think of qubits like a spinning top: a normal bit would be either spinning clockwise (representing 0) or counterclockwise (representing 1). But a qubit can spin in both directions simultaneously!
This unique ability to be in multiple states at once is what makes quantum computing powerful. It allows quantum computers to consider and calculate many possibilities simultaneously, making them potentially much faster for certain types of problems than classical computers.
Quantum computing is not science fiction; it's a leap in computation that opens new horizons for tackling some of the most complex problems in science, technology, and society."

Great insight .. !
Ответитьpossible real applications of quantum computing: a. war; b. markets' breaching; c. espionage
ОтветитьI still have no concept of how it actually works. I have a strong background in the Von Neuman computer technology model.
ОтветитьSo you could use “computers “wirelessly also through quantum entanglement.
ОтветитьAll im hearing is the computer cheats every time
Ответитьconfused.
Ответитьinteresting
Ответить말도안되는 설명을 뭐같이하네 문과냐
ОтветитьI lose 10 minuites again
ОтветитьWell, I still have not idea who a quantum computer would solve a problem. The game example didn't say much. How about an example of a real world problem and you a quantum computer would solve it. The basic unclear issue is how does a quantum computer use super position to solve a problem?
ОтветитьAny idea where we could find a clear explanation of this experiment?
ОтветитьShe started promising, but sadly - again a "scientist" that explains about a few uses of a qc, but does not have the ability to explain how it works.
ОтветитьOMG... The fact that you think it's cute or something (hopefully not interesting) to use quaint & queer (now I'm being cute) spectrum jokes is just not what makes me gay when watching science and technology ⚙ and especially chemistry! ⚗ 👏But could not watch it finished 👎
ОтветитьSo basically Quantum Computing is Schrödinger's Cat
