Please explain question 2 for contract modification as why change is prospectively as in example it seems to be retrospectively?

There is a question, average should be for the remaining for example
(150*100+50*100)/200=133.33, why 140, total revenue will be different if calculated with 140, total amount will be as per 140 = 36000/- in reality it is 35000/-, please explain
