Valheim: How To Build A Simple Boat Shelter + Interior

Thank you so much for this guide i was stuck in builders block and could not for the life of me figure out how to do a boat house but thanks to you i have been inspired and now kno wwhat im going to build

Build doesn't work anymore. Roof won't stay stabilized in the
Middle front over the water.

Completed the entire foundation and roof just for 3 spots that can't be finished

Not only is this a great build, but the music, holy shit.

I would like to point out this is not a functional dock. The longship is too large for this. This is not viable for survival as the weather is not perfect and will eventually cause the ship to move around and break apart the dock

I have ecountered a small little problem, my roof won't connect, it dosn't get enought stability... Please help me!!

Greydwarfs keep destroying my ships and I don't know how to stop them 😭 lost all my materials from my first longship and getting more iron without cheating is a massive drag 😐

How did you set that perspective during construction? Was it a 2nd player recording from above? Did you use a mod?

its a how to build and i love it.. but you skipped so much like the windows etc that a noob like me cant create them :X

This build is amazing, built it for myself just now. The only semi-complaint is the stairs for a skylight, rain get through and damages everything.

Do the wooden roof beams still get damaged as they are exposed to the rain?

Can anyone tell me why my roof isn’t structurally sound, I’m doing the beams on the last part where the roof peaks but won’t stop falling apart!? 😢

Now show how many times you have to repair that port every time you decide to take the ship out and back. Hell nah. Cool build but definitely not worth the frustrations of slowly maneuvering that ship in there every time.

The only thing that sucks about boat houses/docks is when the waves go crazy and your boat keeps bumping into the walls of your boat house/dock because it does damage to the structure and the boat

I had to modify The entire ceiling bc The drakkar didn't fit :c

it's not how I do it, but I build docks that look much like that at the end, you seem to have an easier method of making it happen though

What do you do to stop the logs in the water from being damaged ?

I have one question. Does the ship hit against the walls or ceiling when there is a storm with big waves? I had this problem quite a lot after building a jetty for it with the same distance that you used when there was a storm with big waves on the water. Had quite problems with it.

Those stair “skylights” while they look cool, don’t count as roof so everything below them will decay in storms.

Folks dont remt calheim servers. Save the money you would spend and instead just purchase a server machine. For less that $500 you can build a machine that willhost the server for most any of these games flawlessly.
