The bubbles in the ice: There are gasses absorbed in water (nitrogen, free oxygen, carbon dioxide, and more). As water freezes, it forms crystals, and those crystals are built in a way that doesn't allow any space for the free gasses. Those gasses are essentially squeezed out of the solution like squeezing a sponge. You would think that would cause them to completely escape from the ice, but as the ice is forming all around them, they are blocked from actually escaping. They are trapped, so they collect in small pockets, which become the bubbles.

Gaunson is not too far off! It is oxygen bubbles. But not from the water, instead from dissolved air. Other gases can also form bubbles. Usually when water freezes, it loses the heat to the surroundings from the outside in. Essentially cooling any solution reduces the amount of solvent it can hold before reaching 'saturation', so the dissolved gases precipitate out. But where can they go? The surface is frozen solid! So they're ejected inwards forming those streaks.

They should always re do the tape when they get to the last one. ... By then the tape is weak so it be better to have fresh tape take on the heavier items.

The ice thingy happens because there’s oxygens in tha water and when you put food colouring inside the colouring is like see ya mate to the oxygens and the oxygens fight back and the colouring is like oh f*ck off mate and use his ice powers to freeze the oxygens but it backfires and the whole thing just completely freezes and they die .
