So where to move to that has affordable living !

I moved to Orlando FL in 1989 from Northern Virginia because of housing prices. I left in 2008 because of everything Michael says he is experiencing today. Listen too him because he is telling the truth.

I just moved 2 Florida, luv it.
Way cheaper than most states.

Same thing in the Carolinas....moved back to the hills of Western NY after 5 years of skyrocketing housing costs....

Hmmmm…..traffic in the northeast sucks….New York,New Jersey, Connecticut….Boston ,so much worse than any place down here,as bad as it is up north a million times worse than down here.

My wife and I lived in Tampa for 5 yrs ..We are moving to North Carolina in2024... Tired of the Low Wages and High Housing....2023 was so hot & humid, we cannot enjoy the outdoors....Traffic is awful and getting worse. Insurance is terrible...It's just so much to name.....Don't Not Move To Florida!!!

Florida is such an overrated state. I miss living in Denver, CO, life-work balance and what it has to offer is much better than FL.

The Fed (Central Bank) printing money created 95% of these issues you’re speaking about. Since 2020 they’ve printed more dollars then where in circulation throughout the entire world. THAT is why everything has become so expensive. It’s also based on supply and demand but only the government can create inflation.

I am a recent transplant and I was shocked when I shopped for car insurance. I’ve never had a ticket, moving violation or accident and my insurance tripled! So I don’t pay car tax any more but my insurance premium makes paying taxes on my 18 year old car is outrageous!

Cost of living in Washington state is also high, and even tho we lack income tax we have 2 additional taxes no other state has and high gas prices. Food is ridiculous.

Car insurance is the worst in Florida. From $120-$220 in 6 months.

California residents sold the 1Bed 1 Bath for $900K and moved to florida paying well over market value for their new house causing prices to sky rocket.

I ended up at this video because of another video of a guy complaining about Canada - mostly about high house prices - and saying that he was planning on moving to - you guessed it - Florida, so I put a link to this vid in his comments. (He also complained about the weather and the politics, to be fair). But high house prices are everywhere now - maybe they'll come down.

Florida is where California was in the 1980s and 1990s, CA was a paradise and its population doubled since the 80s.

Florida like big US cities has experienced gentrification and over development.

Traffic is now so congested, people are only getting ruder. I was born and raised in FL. It's become the worst, and I blame Gov DeSantis in part for his pre-campaign propaganda of Florida. He helped to ruin it. Also, if you live in Tampa, expect a $300/mo water bill. EVERYTHING is expensive!

Michael, I hate to shatter your dreams of living in California… are you not hearing and seeing the flooding and landslides all around California. The traffic is dreadful… you must be going to some way out places… I don’t know where but traffic in California is also NO JOKE. Taxes are high, rents are sky high… and the cost of living… SCAMs happen Everywhere! Including in California!
