Can’t you just change you’re bov spring to 30psi?

does they always get PLUS pressure or vacuum pressure? or is it not important for the testing

... how about the fuelling for the extra boost?

I use the manual ball pump and it works. But is that mean it’s faulty? Need to be hard or something

Does anyone have an idea why ( sometimes) if you kick my CRD C300 down or try and make a drag start, it goes into kangaroo mode bucking or jurcking up the road. Ideas, could it be the waist gate ,actuator or some other other reason. Anyone else had this problem, or engineers know of this issue ?

What about vacuum stye actuator? Replaced solenoid, replaced vacuum lines, cleaned air cleaner, have no power. I have a 98 k3500, 6.5 diesel.

You don't explain why there is a difference in the strength of the springs and why it makes a difference.

Do waste gate actuators fail over time because of heat soak \ heat cycles? And would heat wrap of the exhaust side of the turbo and down-pipe get the waste gate actuator to last longer?

Thanks for the video. I'm having a little tuning issue with my system not holding boost. I am a little confused about the waste gate actuator holding boost. My stock old actuator was holding about 12 psi of boost. When I attached a pressure pump on it, it would start to open at about 2 psi but would let my system boost at about 12 psi. I got a new actuator that starts to open at about 14 psi with my hand pump but only lets my system hold about 12 psi. Not sure how that works but I purchased stronger springs for my actuator.

My wastegate leaks air from the bottom of the diaphram where the rod comes out. Does that mean that it needs to be changed? It's not meant to leak from there right?

Im a little late to this video but i think im having a waste problem but dont know if its the spring or the actuator. From my tuner im supposed to reach 20psi in full boost and its good in 1st and 2nd. But when i go into 3rd and hit full boost i begin to overboost to about 21psi which is not good. Its a 2.5l boxer with a 4speed. Any help would be much appreciated

What should i do IF: I'm having turbo flutter (tututu) with OEM wastegate, and the thing that confuses me most is that the (tututu) only comes when under 2000rpm (like releasing gas pedal in traffic?)

Do you have a email. I have a 191 gsx and when i do a BLT i can only get it to about 10psi before i hear a his near the turbo. Almost like a quick bov.. what should i do?

My wastegate is opening fully with 5psi and that is oem Mitsubishi is that a sign that it is a bad wastegate? Trying to figure out if wastegate or bcs is going bad.

Isn't this going to damage the turbine? As far as I know, the Wastegate serves to unload the turbine in case the pressure reaches the maximum allowable value?
