Ouh, I didn't know homeroom is the place to chill. In my school, the homeroom teacher teaches everything and we stay in the hr from morning till noon with the same teacher.

We don't have passes, but we do need a note in our planners if we want to go anywhere during lesson time. And you're not guaranteed that you will actually be allowed to go.

Never really understood homeroom You get 5 minutes of announcements and then basically a social period for the rest of the 30 minute you're in the class It's almost like recess for older kids except you're stuck in a room instead of hanging outside with your friends

I never had a home room in any of my schools so I have no idea what this is

We have something called CLC which is basically a free period unless they have school training or documents you need to fill out. But other then that we use that time to go to other teachers to get work done. Very nice.
