Starfield on the RTX 3050 8GB - with DLSS Mod

Now RTX 3050 is starting to perform better than GTX 1660 Tin newer games, they were very similar on older games. As a GTX 1660 Ti user, sometimes I used RTX 3050 results in games as base if I didn't find results for GTX 1660 Ti, but I think it'll be useless for future games.

Smh man this game is making me hate pc gaming is so bad if games will be like this from this point going forward I’m not buying a gaming pc ever again, I will never in my life buy a $2k+pc for gaming then another cpu/gpu come out every 1-2years is so toxic imo they need to stop.

Wow, this Game really sucks, i get over 100 -150 FPS in most games with a 4060 ti 16 GB, and in this trash i got the same that a 3050 card.

You keep testing games on starfield but you just walk around, you dont even do anything crazy. Try a space battle or driving the ship atleast, i guarantee the game will crash

The devs don't want to admit, that this kind of graphics is nothing new and has been seen in various games before. For example Call of Duty series has graphics like this and they all run 100 FPS with GPUs like RTX 3050. (Call of Duty : Black Ops Cold War for example, runs RTX ON 4K ULTRA +50FPS). Starfield is outrageously badly optimized, most likely on purpose, to sell AMD GPUs.

Hey keyzzp, why don't you benchmark the new DLSS 3.5 with the RTX 20, 30, and 40 series? It's available on Cyberpuck 2077 Phantom Liberty City DLC. I am also awaiting to see those frame generation on my 30 series card.

The good news is that Starfield will add DLSS, or they plan to some day

If you are a budget gamer with a lower end cpu & psu, etc then I would sell the 3050 and get a 4060 instead. At least you'd have frame generation to help the fps on many new games.

Awful performance considering lackluster visuals. I can run Cyberpunk at significantly better visuals and performance.

I have an Asus Nvidia RTX 3050 8GB twin fan model. Cost me only $210 brand new. It runs everything I throw at it on Windows 10 and Linux Mint 21.1 just fine. I know I'll have to make some concessions to run Starfield though.

I woke up today to see there is a Nv driver, Starfield update, and also an OTA whitelist for REBAR on Nv cards, but haven't tested yet; also, in their update notes they list DLSS as a feature that is inbound. I'm really hoping this all improves the game, especially the look of it while upscaling.

why does the 3050 only use 100 watts? The power limit is 130 watts, it seems to me that the problem is in the unreleased drivers
