Brilliant video content, i had the time to explore alot, road trip 2021, loved off the beaten track stuff in New Mexico, and esp sw Texas, ps, theres a coyote / wolf mix, some say from the mountains and high plains desert areas, that sounds un earthly, heard that one night in the Davis mountains state park primitive area, chills ! Happy trails 👣💓
ОтветитьGhost towns and abandoned places always hold a sense of melancholy for me. Once busy with men, women, and children. The sounds of people going about their lives, voices, machinery, dogs barking, and children playing. The smell of food cooking. Now so lonely. A most enjoyable and informative video. Thank You.
Ответить👍🏠🏆⚰⚰
ОтветитьYup walking and exploring the trails of the o`l timers. I won't say much , but the Nostalgia is so cool.
ОтветитьExcellent
I went there in the mid 80s
Loved this video, Thank You for the history journey. Yes you were right to leave after the scream. I lived in the Mojave desert and heard and saw many things that no one would believe.
Thank You Emma for leaving the flowers, such a sweet and respectful gift to the those who came before.
Keep carrying your repeater on these journeys you never know what you may encounter. Keep up the good work.
Great video! Thats a great ghost story too! Those dust storms are Serious and i think your channel is now one of my favs. I lived in Nevada and N.M. and love the desert!
ОтветитьWhy do you need a gun walking around there? (UK so maybe I'm missing something?)
ОтветитьI’ve always appreciated your family clean approach to your videos.
ОтветитьWat is die doel van speelikie
ОтветитьI live in Las Vegas. I have been to Rhyolite which to me is a fascinating place but never knew about these places. I watch your videos regularly and enjoy them very much as I enjoy learning about history. Thank you for these great videos.
ОтветитьLove the flowers she leaves. Brings a little bit of life back to it❤
ОтветитьGreat work🎉
ОтветитьVery well done, and very professional.
ОтветитьWhen Victor Huson died in 1961, he had already moved to Goldpoint, NV and moved one of those cabins from Bonnie Claire to Goldpoint. His wife Millie was my great, great Aunt. She continued to live in Goldpoint until 1980 when grandma and grandpa made her move to Las Vegas. She hated the city. I was enthralled by her stories. We now own that cabin in Goldpoint. Allen Patera also has Victor and Millie on the census rolls from the early 1900's in Goldpoint. We've spent alot of time in Bonnie Claire as kids. Loved your show.
ОтветитьLots of historical info thank you. I was there in early winter 2013. Beautiful place. In winter. As a 4th generation Canadian I can't even imagine visiting at any other time. We were there to study the moving rocks on the playa. Came across a very curious phenomenon I call terra circles. At first I called them playa circles. Check my first video from 2015
ОтветитьInteresting I watched your Ship wrecks for quite awhile.Tuned in from Southwestern Ontario. 🇨🇦
ОтветитьGood story.
ОтветитьVery SCARY. Great footage too.

ОтветитьAwsome video I like the touch of the paranormal
ОтветитьI've been to Scott's castle 3 or 4 times. It has a hugh front door and has swimming pools built on the side of the house. On one trip there, I was on a motorcycle and was leaving , when I had to pull up to a stop. Out in front of me was a whole bunch tiranchel spides [ sorry for the spelling ]. It was like a big blanket going across the road.
ОтветитьThis is so interesting! One hundred years and absolute extinction of mining civilization! For the first time I've heard about Scotty's castle! It's amazing! Thank you for your video!) ❤
ОтветитьThank you for this great presentation!
ОтветитьHi! What A Beautiful Story And History Of This Amazing Town. I m Amazing and Fond Of The History Of Once Lveing, Thank you!!
ОтветитьVery interesting. You have done some detailed investigation. Sets your video's apart from a lot of others........
ОтветитьSounds like some ghost smelled dinner cooking and came running, then realized you didn't save any dinner for them. Ahhhhh!!!!
ОтветитьI think they filmed the new ghostbusters here
Ответитьimagination. These old west towns and times, yes, still capturing the imagination. Something about it just won't let go very easily, ya know, hence your audience to view it. It made me think of the Paul Thomas Anderson film, There Will Be Blood, from 2007, where Daniel Plainview falls inside the mine extracting silver, breaks his leg [his left leg....ahem] climbs out and drags himself across the Nevada desert to a town to sell his silver etc. Yeah, the desert and those times back then. Haunting.......kinda like the man that screamed that night. See? So good!
ОтветитьVery cool, very interesting, nicely made. An amazing and interesting piece of history. Really incredible how these kinds of stories still capture the ima
ОтветитьI'm gonna visit this soon..
ОтветитьEver think of doing videos on similar towns like goodsprings or nitpon? Both have tons of history. Especially goodsprings.
Totally not for Fallout New Vegas related reasons of course
I wonder who left flowers at the gravesite. Maybe family? It's amazing how people can remember someone who sadly passed at such a young age over one hundred years later!
ОтветитьCan you tell me why are you carrying a rifle for protection
ОтветитьExcellent
Ответитьwell i dont like it. there is not much to explore indeed infact nothing special in it .
in the middle of nowhere ,totally desolate area and warren land .
not even a tumbling weed i saw in whole video .
but still i hit the like button because u made so long video for a small piece of topic ,and u explore it all whatever it was .
Being a lover of Ghost towns the thumbnail intrigued me. Happy to say I was not disappointed. This was superbly done and researched. I really appreciated your insight on everything and layering the old photos. I was astounded just how little was left given it wasn't that long ago and there used to be a big railroad through there etc. I look forward to checking out more of your videos. Cheers!
ОтветитьVery cool Emma great gesture
