19 in the city ? No way I can’t get 13mpg in mine in the city, don’t believe it.
ОтветитьUnfair comparison. Two different trucks, built for 2 different missions. Ya can't put 2 dirt bikes in the back of the 4Runner. How about a load of dirt. A better compairason would be to the Tacoma but the Tacoma is not rated to pull my 7500 lb boat like the Ranger. The 4Runner is a good vehicle with good capability off-road. But Ill stick with my Ranger. Ive had it in Moab and all over Colorado and have found it will climb anything that I am willing to drive up. 🤪 21 MPG too
ОтветитьIt seems like all reviewers complain about no front camera on off road vehicles. People have driven off road for decades with out them. Not sure why it is made such a big deal of.
ОтветитьYou did a crappy job driving that Ford ranger. The forerunner is a lot heavier. All you had to do was let a little air out of the tires because it was so powdery. My ranger has done an incline of like 25 but I have a lot better tires with a better lift.
ОтветитьMy Tremor has Fox shocks on all 4 corners and the rear shocks have external reservoirs. This one probably does too.
ОтветитьNothing too fancy. Cafe vita? You’re fancier than this truck
ОтветитьPush start is better coz the key system brake after some time and dust stuck to the system dealing with one now
Ответитьmy 2016 colorado has wireless support how to 2021's still not have that. i have an LT not even a high end model lol
ОтветитьGreat reviews and tests. Interesting comparison of crawl modes with the 4 Runner. I would like to see other pickup trucks in the same course and conditions!
ОтветитьI prefer a physical key, don’t care for push start, just another thing to mess up
ОтветитьThe electric switch in my Pontiac grand am ignition actually failed on me around 70k miles. The car would start but the accessories wouldn’t get power, so I was driving around without a functioning gauge cluster lol. Sometimes hitting a bump would cause it to come on. It would do the full gauge sweep and then jump to the current values 😂.
ОтветитьI love the look of this truck but no push button and seems pretty generic overall maybe I’m just spoiled in the fact my 22 tundra has all kinds of features
ОтветитьWow the 4Runner is awesome.. was considering a ranger ..not anymore thank u for this
ОтветитьGot to be honest. It would probably perform better if the driver knew how to actually drive off road. Sorry not sorry
ОтветитьThis episode was terrible, somehow he brings the 4Runner to a ranger. He goes on saying stuff about keeping things “fair” but I don’t see a Tacoma on here.
ОтветитьI lime the 4 runner crawl
ОтветитьThat's weird because the Ford has crawl control too
ОтветитьIs there a 2021.5 model? I see 21’s with led headlight push button start fox shocks…
ОтветитьI prefer the key.
ОтветитьConsidering mpg and pricing, this truck just doesn't make much sense when compared to a full size truck such as an f150.
ОтветитьIt's not Toyota
Ответитьi dont anderstud... you have problem to drive this super car, on the simular road i drive izzy with citroen saxo, hahhahahahahaaa
Ответитьyou need to learn how to drive 4x4. Loose dirty and low speed don t work. You to slow.
ОтветитьI am excited to see what this truck can do. I think I will be in the market for a Ranger in a few years once the new ones come to America and prove themselves.
ОтветитьWHAT A BUNCH OF CRAP, NITPICKING , MICROMANAGING YOUR FOURWHEEL , WHAT A JOKE .
MY 2011 CHEVY COLORADO WOULD OUTDO YOUR COMPUTER TRUCK, WITHOUT ALL THE DAMN HEADACHE . I PUSH ONE BUTTON AND GO , NO MUMBO JUMBO . 😆
My Ranger would've went right up that steep hill. Mainly because I wouldn't be up there with fully inflated tires. Not to mention you kept stopping when the truck was still making progress. This was driver error and PSI error. I get it, the manufacturer don't want you lowering the air pressure for a test, However you are already covering the vehicle in dirt and kicking up rocks everywhere. 🧐 I don't think they'd notice if you aired down a little. 🤐🤫 Just fill it back up.🤦🏾♂️🤷🏽♂️
ОтветитьLED headlites come standard on Lariat version of ALL Rangers. The stock Halogens on my '19 Ranger XLT FX4 are extremely bright & accurate as are fog lights.
ОтветитьA key has been proven time & again to be more reliable actually. If you get Ranger Lariat you get a push button start. Lol Who cares when the off rd ready truck is as good as this new Ranger Tremor! 👍💯
ОтветитьI would pay for the key if it was an option. Push button is not a luxury in my opinion
ОтветитьNeed better tires then General grabbers they junk. When I plowed snow they used grabbers and we slide around a lot and got stuck a lot
Ответитьfor 4k you can get yrd pro
ОтветитьWatched this after watching the Tacoma Trail and another one I commented on couple days ago. The contrast between locker & crawl control made sense here. It’d be great to see a collage of the systems comparing the classes of vehicles you test on this track to get a better understanding of the features and which seem the best or preferred. That’s the next level for your videos!!!! Thank you Sir!
Ответитьwhat's the fuel tank size?
ОтветитьThis video was hard to watch.
ОтветитьPitty you guys don't get the ranger raptor like we do here in Australia it's head and shoulders above all the other rangers. Looks better too...
ОтветитьI wish they put the little v6 eco boost like the bronco just for extra power
ОтветитьI’d love to see numbers on how much more mechanical knowledge Scotty Kilmer has than you…
ОтветитьYou have no weight in the back. Their front heavy! Put 2 100 pound sand bags & see what happens!
ОтветитьTwo foot 4 high locker on. dont use 4 low
Ответитьdude, why the fuck would i watch anymore of this after "find the nearest cafe vita" lmao. Noooo thanks, ma'am.
ОтветитьIt's pretty obvious this guy is not a fan of ford.
ОтветитьWas considering buying one of these, but after seeing it struggle on the course, I may not.
ОтветитьAmazing videos, keep them going. When can you review f150 tremor on your course, please?
ОтветитьCould you compare this to your new maverick
ОтветитьIf you would have been able to air down I think the outcome would have been somewhat different.
ОтветитьThis proves just how great the jeep gladiator is . There is no pickup truck in the world that could do what a rubicon gladiator could do.
ОтветитьGood job on the videos! I feel like you are doing a pretty good real world job that us normal guys can understand. Thank you!
Ответить"Legs/torso proportionate." LOL, idiot.
ОтветитьFound your channel and love the “course “ testing. Adds so much more to a review. Plus from the NW.. gotta follow you.
ОтветитьThe Ranger's issues on the off road course kind of caught me off guard but then again these videos are more of an evaluation of the vehicle's electronical doo-dads which are designed to " help" you as opposed to actual off road ability. A 4x4 is still a 4x4 and if it can get you there without breaking shit then it's good in my book. Based upon the criteria of the test an old FJ-40 Land Cruiser which as we all know is basically regarded as the off-road GOAT would have failed miserably as well because those had no assistance at all. That said a four wheel drive Ranger purchase is in my future, most likely a FX4 and I feel confident about this decision.
