How come the updated version of this car was never tested? Says the results only apply to 2015-2016 models.

Big improvement than the previous design of the honda fit

My dad died on 12/27/2016 in a multi car accident in this vehicle ( 2016 Honda Fit) It was brand new and less than a month driven. I will never drive in a little economy car. I drive a truck for this reason.
