I think it was a symbolic thing to leave the victor houses standing in 12. It left it more impactful on Katniss that she may have survived but at the cost of literally everyone else.

For example, you’d know that climate change took out every continent except North America. That plot probably deserves a sin, because I doubt North America is the continent that would survive global flooding from the melting of the Ice Caps. My bet is on the Himalayan Mountain range. But anyway, that means there is no Canada or Mexico to speak of, because they are all underwater(for some reason, the only land left is the land that made up the USA and some small parts of Canada and Mexico).

These movies were so boring and devoid of any charcuterie development. I found myself constantly skipping ahead and turning the playback speed up.
