Thanks for your tutorial!

I tried this on an alembic file - attaching a sphere (planning to use the sphere as a source object for popnet) However during playback the sphere wasn't fixed properly to those points, jittering around the constraint area. Any idea what's going on?

Dear god you are a live saver. I have been looking for a way to parent objects to hands, heads, feet in sops and I thought it was impossible without doing the long winded process with Kinefx. This is an operation that should be a simple click of a button or drag and drop. This is the curse of Houdini some of the hardest tasks to achieve are made simple and then some of the simplest tasks are super complex, and then there is you, the digital Moses here to part the red sea lead us out of darkness and into the promise land🙂

very useful video thanx , i have a question thing is i have animated character i want attach box to his right hand , this method works but i need to way to bake and export the animation of the box for other use , please consider making video about this how we can bake and export animation of attached object

does this work for lights as well? im trying to parent a light that ive set next to an alembic geometry so that when the it moves it takes the lights with it perfectly
