Hello! I noticed in one of your videos that you initially set your items at break-even prices and increase them after approximately 15 sales. How do you handle inquiries from customers who request the initial lower price after it has increased, especially if they are part of a group that made separate purchases at different times? I'm experimenting with this pricing strategy but find it challenging with groups ordering separately and days apart. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you!
ОтветитьDefinitely interested in the pricing comparison research/video! How long do you normally leave the break even pricing on for before switching to regular pricing?
ОтветитьHi Shawna! Is your $23-24 a shirt price after sale price or pre-sale price? And do you recommend sales to be at least 20% off? Thanks so much for the amazing content, I’m learning so much!
ОтветитьYou are amazing Shawna!
ОтветитьHi Shawna! I’m a new Etsy seller and I just recently found your channel and I’m absolutely LOVING your content!! I’m currently going through all your videos and maybe I have t come across it yet but how do you change the pricing if you are doing the break even strategy? I’ve tried but I kept accidentally making a new listing, any advise would be amazing!!
ОтветитьCan you please do a more in depth video about costs and pricing your item. I’m using the Etsy calculator on Everbee and according to it I will make a $4 profit when listing a shirt at $25.99. Is this correct?
ОтветитьExcellent video! Thank you so much.
ОтветитьThanks, Shawna, wonderful information. 😊
ОтветитьThat was really helpful Shawna thanks.
ОтветитьHi Shawna,
Love your videos! I have a question. I’ve never seen you talk about this unless I missed it of course. How do you know which vendor to use in the printify? Do you only use the US or do you use other vendors like Canadians and etc? Do you go by the standard pricing, ranking or colors available? So in general how do you decide which t-shirt vendor to use from the print on demand site?
yes an testing
ОтветитьThank you for the brilliant video! Tucker is adorable 🥰
ОтветитьYes i wanna see the selling experiment results
ОтветитьGreat idea on double listings!!
ОтветитьI'm interested to see the pricing experiment
ОтветитьLove your videos! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge!
ОтветитьThanks Shawna
ОтветитьGreat video.
ОтветитьDo you sell comfort colors or Bella Canvas?
ОтветитьThank you Shawna, and Tucker. My favourite videos ❤😊 xx
ОтветитьGreat video, 😊
ОтветитьOnly you Shawna, Heather Rex, Hannah Gardner, and Cassie Johnson are the only people making sales...I get maybe one sale a month and it all goes for fees. Etsy is no longer viable because there is no way to get seen unless you have a bestseller then maybe your stuff gets promoted more. I have almost 800 listings and work 12-18 hours a day on my designs etc...of course I understand my designs must be bad but the weird part is I have been self employed thirty years as a "real" artist painting corporate murals, illustration, and commission canvas works. Wanted to expand into selling on Etsy merch/art and I can't give the crap away sold 4 things in six months. Depressing and pointless while everyone is selling selling selling
ОтветитьI’m so new to this. Listening to your awesome video I realize that I may have all my products priced to low. Not sure how to figure it out like you did ?
ОтветитьHi Shawna! Love yours and Tucker's videos! I'm only seeing this video now...2 months later :-) did you ever make that video? Thanks, and keep up the awesome work you are doing!
ОтветитьPlease make the video with break even pricing vs normal pricing for 30 days ! I would love to see 🙏🏻
ОтветитьDoes the .99 strategy work the same if the prices ended in .95? My go-to prices I’ve always done in .95. Would it be worth it to update my pricing to .99?
ОтветитьGreat video👍🇨🇦
ОтветитьI would love to see that test!! Thank you!!
ОтветитьLove the blue on you! So vibrant🎉
ОтветитьThank you for these awesome videos. I am a teacher and new to edgy/pos. I can see your teacher knowledge coming out in these videos - so I definitely connect with your presentations. I love your openness with your strategies and tricks - definitely have helped me make improvements to my very new shop. Looking forward to summer for more time to build it up and check out more videos 😀-
ОтветитьThank you SO MUCH for your insight! This video answered so many questions I had and couldn't find on other channels! And the tip from Tucker is just too precious! I'll keep you updated after I launch my Etsy shop!
ОтветитьI just started my Etsy acct & I need help guys 💕😭 So if my customer is paying for shipping and I go to create a shipping label, isn't the shipping label supposed ro be covered by the customer? Bc I was charged to created the shipping label (around $6). So where does the money that the customer paid for on shipping going towards?
Ответитьyes please do the video
ОтветитьI would like to see a video of your experiment
ОтветитьAbsolutely do the AB testing and let us know. That would be amazing!!! I absolutely love your information!!! Thank you!!!
ОтветитьFunny Tucker 😂
ОтветитьA B testing would be exciting if you did it, thanks Shawna 😀
ОтветитьHi Shawna!! I am really enjoying watching your videos!!! I have not started my Etsy yet...but plan to around the first of the year!!! I will be doing woodworking instead of print on demand. I have not commented before, but I think you should definitely do the A/B price testing!! I would really like to hear the outcome!! Thank you for doing these videos!!!! Keep on doing them! You are rocking it out!!! See ya!
ОтветитьI would love to see AB pricing!
ОтветитьYes, I would love to see what happens with the AB comparison. Thank you for your videos. I just started my Etsy store 2 weeks ago and I’m learning so much from you. Thank you ❤
ОтветитьThank you Shawna! Love your vids. Just starting myself and love hearing about your Etsy journey.
ОтветитьVery Interested too!!!!
ОтветитьSuper curios about the split test in real life application. Also, super awesome vide about pricing strategies.
ОтветитьHey Shawna, do you have pricing tips for printables like digital art and planners/calendars? How much would one try to price lower than competitors for things like that? Thanks in advanced.
ОтветитьYAY would love that TEST !!!
ОтветитьPlease do the experiment!
ОтветитьWhy did you choose the Gildan 64000 instead of the Bella Canvas 3001? I'm trying to choose which one to sell and it seems the Bella is more popular but $3 more than the Gildan 64000
ОтветитьHello Shawna! 🤗 Thanks for another interesting video. I was going to ask you if you would do a video on your A/B strategy. I remember you mentioning it in one of your earlier videos. And yes, I would love to see the results of your A/B strategy pertaining to pricing. I understand that this would be time consuming for you and want you to know that I appreciate your time and effort more than you know👍😊💝 Tammy - Cape Cod
ОтветитьMost Etsy sellers are horribly UNDER PRICED! Quality should be paid for; if you are in the race to the bottom, your stuff is cheap and crappy.
