How to fuel a HYDROGEN car? | Toyota Mirai (182 hp) | POV drive

I'm curious, do you have enough Hydrogen fuel stations in your country?

I like it But the price for the hydrogen for the full tank is very high

Except the ecological aspect, what are the other incentives to switch to Hydrogen?

Maybe it's because it is still a very recent technology, but it is very expensive for 500kms range. With my Corolla Hybrid I spend around 7.5€ per 100kms.

But, how much does the fill cost!!! Hydrogen a great fuel but considerably more expensive than gas, diesel electricity or anything else. It can be only produced by the electrossis of water, a very expensive process requiring considerably more energy than we get back from burning it in a highly inefficient mechanical engine, 30 % loss.

Why do I instantly prefer this to a battery EV?

I am working in Japan and I want to get one Mirai, after I get my license. One new car is about 4-5 years of my income, so I plan to purchase a used one.

11,2 euros per 100 km. i expected water would be much more cheap then gas, but its not, fu kin bastards. still a hybrid is best solution for the moment, consume 5 in city, thats like 7 euros per 100 km

terrible experiences to add hydrogen, the hydrogen stations around me (usually 10 miles away) has been always down, one has been down for 4 months. The other I waited 30 min today without hydrogen or station error. The hydrogen price is twice or even triple the price of gas.

Unless big oil get on board hydrogen won't take off... it's the best salutation for heavy transportation and will make gas stations viable as the turn around time is similar to current gas car's and the price will allow for a profit margin that makes the business model sustainable... battery electric can't deliver on profit in the long run as owners will charge up at home for their dayley commute and won't go near a service station unless on a long trip and then the time involved in charging will flood the station with waiting EVs... hydrogen is big oils future , hope thay wake up to that reality sooner than later!!.💕🇺🇸🇺🇦

In Poland we are doing this since 20 years now. LPG is as clean and eco but much more cheaper and common. On every gas station in Poland they has a LPG. It costs half of the price of gasoline. We don't have stupid road taxes so after spending 1000 Euro for kit there are no more expenses beside regualr maintance. Idiots should start making cars LPG only.

What was the actual time it took you to finish fuelling? I get it with "it usually takes you X minutes", just as fuelling a gas tank takes you 5 minutes. That is almost not the case (80%+)
Can you partially fill the tank?

Shouldn't you leave your phone in the car while filling instead of walking around with it on the forecourt with highly flammable fuel around you? The static can cause explosions in petrol stations etc.

In Poland, it's a dream to have a hydrogen fuel station. I would like to see a station that has E85 at least once. Unfortunately, there is only one station.

It's fascinating for sure! I've got a Model 3 arriving in a few weeks and it's my prefered method of transportation...but this is super cool too! 👍👍 Definitely going to do more research on this. Thanks for the POV video.

I want see before what happen in an accident with those cars and their 700-800bar pressurized tank, and the tank get hit. Probably you and the car, just disintegrate, and the stuff near that also severely damaged.

Ill stick to charging my BEV at home. Its free for me with solar panels.

Disappointingly slow 0-100 for an electric drive. At least it looks cool inside and outside.

I really hate EVs but this is a bit better, still prefer a real engine and a clutch
