Hi Dear , many thanks for your video.

I have 1 question

How I can set payment time in Ms.Project?
For ex.

I should pay for material in advance , but for work 2 months after work done. Or with 2 months delay.

When I set it to 3 months work period, all cost devide to this 3 months and it is not correct.

In other hand , I will recive money 3 months after sales deliver.

Should I add 1 new task like "receive money" for it or there is better way?

Thank you

MS Project costing for construction is fundamentally flawed.
Construction managers don't plan by hours because that's like sand in your hands. Subcontracting is at the core of the business and you won't do that on hourly rates. You do it by unit rates, based on a good BoQ.
A work around in MS Project is to use Material resources for all subs in a task. Use fixed work for tasks and input BoQ in work field and estimated output (units/day) in assignment units field.
You will find an automatically calculated task duration based on a estimated quantity of work and a known output/day.
I am so surprised how this is not well documented by specialist instructors or even in the MS Project manual.
Without this workaround MS Project is of very limited use to a construction manager.
Somebody should pick this up and start making more realistic use of MS Project.

HI, many thanks for the great work, it make ms project easier to learn. You share many video lesson numbered on this platform, now i wish to request you number them like lesson 2 of 30 if there are 30 clips so as to make it easier to know the number of video shared.

Been watching your videos. Thanks. I'm struggling with how to input subcontractors in the resource sheet. They charge me a fixed cost whether it takes them 1 or 8 hours for a task that normally takes 2. If I set the type to cost, Project wont let me input the cost in either the rate or cost/use field. Help?
