Ответитьdepends on the company. Some companies require you to do everything from help desk, system admin and networking. They don't have the money to afford a system admin guy so they make the helpdesk guy wear different hats and do everything from the beginning to the end of tech. If it's a smaller company, you may be required to do everything.

Upto L1 & L2. but after 4 to 6 yrs of experience you will be able to work in your area of expertise. So pathetic 😂😂😂

I don’t miss the days, but I do miss the interaction experiences and the odd-ball questions that come.
Don’t knock Help Desk Support either because they do a lot of foot-work depending on your organization. A lot of respect to the people who keep their cool even when it’s time to go. I’ve stayed past my time when I was in this position and I wasn’t paid for it, but I did it because I truly wanted to deliver a genuine interaction, experience and concern for the issues they were having.
You’ll gain a crazy amount of respect and by then you’ll possibly be like me and many other people depending on your interest.
This is exactly where I first started and the accuracy is insane!!

ОтветитьThis is clearly help desk not sys admin don't confuse people . Sys admin has more wider and critical roles and tasks than listening people over phone. He maintain servers,write scripts, user creation, Solving Network issues, installing patches,applications,updates and upgrade...etc. I appreciate help desk guys but clearly roles fulfilled by sys admin is at different level. No matter how small a company is the job he is doing above is help desk.

ОтветитьHelpdesk =/= Administration. Helpesk troubleshoots user issues , Admins trouble shoot network issues. Although if Company is small enough may wear more than one hat.
