Thanks a lot! I was able to fix my phone without damaging it. For others who are trying this method, you should be extra careful with the screen and the fingerprint flex cable.

Using aluminum foil, should i fold it to a considerable thickness, able to apply pressure on the chip?

How many folds should i do?

I'm less surprised that this worked than I am surprised that I was able to do this without breaking my phone even more.

It works incrediable.

I think the problem lies under the chip itself.
When you put that piece of card, you apply some pressur on the chip which means there some solder balls attached improperly to the board.

Actually this is the permanent solution..it feels temporally due to that nasty ass cardboard sitting behind the micro processor..but hey, you can't see it once the phone is already back as a whole, can you???

Let me tell you something:

This solved the problem of the freezing trick(my phone was spending more time in the freezer than outside doing its job), now the phone doesn't have random memory hiccups any more..it acts solid and fast..like never ever.
