Roadworthiness Crackdown - Jeepneys, Buses and more

During an intense SAICT & LTFRB roadworthiness inspection operation on February 26, authorities uncovered numerous violations that put passengers at risk. 🚍⚠️

🔴 While some drivers were hit with Immediate penalty tickets, some of the associated public transport operators could likewise be looking at show-cause orders from LTO - according to SAICT.

Among the most common violations found on the day:

🔹 Worn-out tires ready to blow at any moment

🔹 Expired fire extinguishers—useless in an emergency

🔹 Non-working brake & indicator lights, turning roads into a guessing game
