Listening to this soundtrack makes me want to defect from my country and sell it’s military secrets to the RCMP.
Ответитьstill listen to this on the regular. freaking slaps
ОтветитьHaven't heard a violin rendition anywhere else. Big props whoever was playing it here!
Ответитьhell yea
ОтветитьOne the the most beautiful versions of the song along with the irish rovers, love my province 🥰
ОтветитьI’m a (homesick) Nova Scotian living in Ontario for the past few years, and I bought this game about a year and a half after I moved here.
The first time I heard this song in-game I nearly cried.
i love this being canadian
ОтветитьAs a Canadian, I love this! I was so impressed when I heard this when playing as Canada. Almost as cool as Waltzing Matilda for Australia.
ОтветитьDisney Bolt 2 Canada Nova Scotia Halifax Bolt e izzi🐩
Ответить101 Dalmatians Street Canada Nova Scotia Halifax🐩
ОтветитьPaw Patrol Canada Nova Scotia Halifax🐩
ОтветитьŻegnaj Nowa Szkocjo, niech fale biją w brzeg
Tajemnicze twe góry wznoszą szczyty swe
Kiedy będę daleko hen na oceanie złym
Czy was kiedyś jeszcze ujrzę czy zostaną mi sny...
so glad to see gords music in this amazing game
ОтветитьBeen living for Nova Scotia for a year
ОтветитьCaper Pride!
ОтветитьWoah I never would've guessed this song is in the game
ОтветитьWasnt a fan of civ 6 but knowing this classic made it there brings me some pride. Hello from the region known for its world record tides.
ОтветитьThis song helps me find something that makes me feel canadian. From a korean born
Ответитьhunter ass music
ОтветитьWhen I realized this was playing I was so happy to hear it. They really came through with Canada.
ОтветитьIs this on spotify?
ОтветитьLove this cover
ОтветитьI have always seen myself as a Maritimer first, being from Nova Scotia, and Canadian last. I so have never played as Canada in Civ ever. It sounds silly and some might say, what pitiful stuff, but I'm moved. The next time I play I will be Canada.
ОтветитьMy ancestors were the Barra MacLeans, who settled in Cape Breton in the 1870s. This song reminds me of them.
ОтветитьIm from Québec but i have to say that i love Nova Scotia! A beautiful province.
ОтветитьNova Scotia is quite lovely. Only visited briefly but still...
ОтветитьThere are two versions of this song that, hands down, are probably the best in my book. One is Gordon Lightfoot's. The other is this one. (This one in particular just sounds like something you'd listen to while on the road, doesn't it?)
ОтветитьDamn, finally I found this gem.
Ответить2 days ago, Nova Scotia, and the entire country of Canada, suffered its worst mass shooting in our history which also claimed the life of an RCMP (Mountie) officer. I cried when I first heard this in game when Gathering Storm came out, and now I have come back here to find solace in this great redition.
ОтветитьShoulda got an actual fiddler from Nova Scotia (or better yet - Cape Breton)
ОтветитьThis sounds a lot like a bunch of other songs I’ve heard, but I just figure out which.
ОтветитьI’m swept off my feet!!!!!!!!!!
ОтветитьAs an American with some Canadian heritage (great grandparents spent time in Canada), this is a beautiful song. When playing Civ for the first time hearing this, I thought it’d be something they’d p,ah when building the Canadian transcontinental railroad. Regardless, it’s a beautiful song, and the Civ team did their homework on Canadian songs!
ОтветитьThis kind of music is the stuff that makes me feel patriotic for a country I don't live in.
Along with waltzing matilda and scotland the brave.
This song has a lot of meaning behind it for us Nova Scotians and when I heard it in the game I literally freaked out
ОтветитьThis song holds a special and nostalgic place in my memory.
I've been to Canada only once, in Halifax, Nova Scotia, at the Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo in 2015. Was there as part of His Majesty the King's Guard's Band and Drill team (from Norway), and I'll never forget the times we marched into that arena, or more relevantly- the times we marched off it while singing Farewell to Nova Scotia at the top of our lungs.
As a Nova Scotian who has sung this song many times in Bars with friends.
I really didn't know this was a song in this Game.
Looks like more reason to play it now!
Does anyone know where I can download this? The Civ 6 soundtrack on Spotify and iTunes doesn’t have it?!
ОтветитьWhats this game about?
ОтветитьIt’s funny, I’m from Nova Scotia
ОтветитьThose 2 thumbs down come from Kyle's parents, eh?
ОтветитьThis is so folksy I love it. I have this playing on loop while I'm working on a paper about sugar maples. Appropriate since it's the national tree of Canada.
ОтветитьIs this a Kaiserreich reference?
ОтветитьNova Scotia doesn’t exist, Which means this song doesn’t exist.
ОтветитьWhy did it sound initially like I was about to watch a Spirit of the Law video?
ОтветитьRECLAIM THE BIRTHRIGHT
ОтветитьThis brings to my mind Homm 4 themes.
ОтветитьOddly sounds more American than America's own themes.
ОтветитьBeing from Nova Scotia myself I was ecstatic when this started to play in game
ОтветитьThe King in Windsor will reclaim his birthright!
