Unless there's some anomaly that makes 096 able to defy the gravity pull and laws of physics of the SUN without needing a solid surface to jump off from, then even if it did survive the heat of the SUN (likely) it should be trapped within the star forever and when the sun dies and turns into a red giant and then a black hole it should still be stuck because the gravity would've increased and continued to increase forever when the sun became a black hole

At this point 096 just has plot armor.
