Magic Pizza Reheat Method! - How to Get Crispy Crust on Leftover Pizza!

NOTE: Does NOT work well with deep-dish style pizza. Use oven for deep-dish.

Works great! Skip the tinfoil and use a pot lid. Faster, easier, and less wasteful.

Just be sure to be careful using any metal, even foil, on a nonstick pan. If you get a blood test done you will find, assuming you grew up in a western culture, your body has absorbed an unsettling amount of the chemicals used in products like Teflon. Studies have shown a connection between these chemicals and the rise in cancer rates since their introduction. Don’t get me wrong, this is the way to reheat pizza, but I’m not sure enough people understand how poisonous this stuff can be if mishandled. I read one doctor who claimed Teflon, when mishandled, poses a health risk as dangerous as smoking cigarettes

If you put a few drops of water 💦 in the side of the pan whilst covered the steam helps heat the toppings

I prefer the air fryer method. Crispy crust, melted cheese and a little char on the pepperoni 🤤

I microwave cold pizza slices for about a minute until the cheese is melted and the toppings are hot. Then I transfer the now soggy pizza to a hot skillet until the bottom is crisp, should only take a minute of two.

I have tried this technique so many times, yet not matter how many things I try this always results in crusts that are either burnt or like cardboard, with toppings that are barely warmed through (safety risk depending on the toppings).

I've personally found a much better way to be in the oven on it's highest heat on a wire rack, for about 7-8 mins. This gives fully reheated toppings with a crust that's more like a crispy pizza rather than a piece of forgotten toast.

I'll add one more thing to that, when you put the pizza on the pan and before you cover with tin foil or a lid, put a drop or two of water let it steam up inside and the cheese will be melted nice!
