What a solution 😑The HD works on my old Mac and it works on my PC, just not my new M2 Mac Mini. I can't format it in Mac OS format else I won't be able to use it on my PC and Xbox.

went to follow your advice to read a Samsung SSD T5 with some images on it and lost all of the data on it...thanks a heap for losing all my data...just dont generalise in your videos k...so pissed now lost all the data i was trying to read GRRRRRRRRRRRRT

so in a nutshell, give up on mounting your drive, erase it and start over. FIXED!!!

I have a Macbook Air, M1 running OS 13.3. The laptop will not mount an external DVD player. Tried the Apple brand adaptor, ensure the finder settings were set to show drive, different ports but nothing. This seems to be a known issue. Has anyone found a solution?

Well, you are explaining what to do when the harddrive is not formated. In your case the drive IS in fact detected in the first place.

I have a Mac Mini 2014 and installed the latest Monterey OS....I used a wired key board as recommended......I installed bootcamp and then used my Logitech wired keyboard to use both systems....unbeknown to me my logitech wireless mouse and keyboard prevented me from seeing external drives on Monterey OS.....when I removed the wireless keyboard and attached a generic wired keyboard I could see all the external drives attached to Mac OS.....this drove me nuts

My T5 is recognized, but ejects if I try to open it. If I try to open Disk Utility on Mac, it again ejects. Any fix or is it trash? Better brands that work with Mac?

Great video. I have a question. When I try to Erase the drive, i get an error saying that it "couldn't modify the partition map." Any advice on where to go from here?
