you gave me all your determination
ОтветитьBravo. Very nice and not exaggerated
ОтветитьI had this piece in high school.
ОтветитьCongrats on 100K Front Row
Ответитьnice one!
ОтветитьAll my feelings are here, i love it.
ОтветитьThis rendition is pure BISS! 😍
ОтветитьSad he died so young…
ОтветитьI wish I had big hands, this piece will be much easier to play if one has big hands.
ОтветитьWhat a fantastic performance
ОтветитьBeautiful interpretation and performance. Mr. Biss can really play.
ОтветитьI'm learning this piece now. This is the best version I've found.
Ответитьnice playing!
ОтветитьI just have to comment again= THAT DUDE FUCKING KILLS IT, HAHAHA. I seriously Love It!!!!
Ответитьeasy
ОтветитьWell, that was superb. A lot of renditions of this don't interpret the 'touch' involved in playing the piece: of course that's not something Anybody could know as the author is long since dead and the do not write how a key should be struck in sheet music- I'd say you had the right touch as far a force is concerned. Anywho can sit and bang some keys but it takes a real musician to try to feel how the piece is suppose to be played. You nailed it.
ОтветитьI wish i had bigger hands
ОтветитьOhhh precioso
ОтветитьThe piece is not friendly for the people who has small hands ~~~😓
ОтветитьWOW ... it is as if Schumann has written down all my pain and my struggles. And Biss knows how to express them. So beautiful 😢
ОтветитьBravo!
ОтветитьReally great performance! Outstanding and breathtaking.
ОтветитьWonderful perfomance. Bravo Sir !!!
ОтветитьReally great performance.
ОтветитьHow the frickity frick his hands do that
ОтветитьI don't understand it. There are performances of this piece by some of the most famous pianists around, over several generations, and this is better than all of them.
ОтветитьSee "The Improvement in Mr. Gaynor's Technique," by S.N. Behrman, in "55 Short Stories From The New Yorker" [magazine], copyright 1949.
ОтветитьNoice
ОтветитьWho would thumbs down to that?
ОтветитьPlayed this one in UIL Competition in High School. One of my favorites. :-) Brings back memories.
ОтветитьWow! Fantastic!
ОтветитьHow did he play it so clean?
ОтветитьI'm actually learning this piece right now, and I'm using your video to help me! Thanks!
ОтветитьGreat performance!!
Ответитьamazing
Ответитьwonderful performance
ОтветитьI like the way he plays, but I agree, he does move a little too much. I like the way the camera changes angles. Very professional.
ОтветитьDoes not the beginning sound like Chopin prelude 18 ?
Ответить@WGBH Music The moving around wildly and all the other pretentious histrionics is EXTREMELY ANNOYING to look at! Stop it!
ОтветитьNe pas oublier de respirer…
ОтветитьHAPPY (*%th) BIRTHDAY, JONATHAN!!
JONATHAN BISS
(born 16 September 1980)
Jonathan Biss is an American pianist, teacher, and writer
A great pianist who inhabits and transmits - exactly and powerfully - the FEELING
Ответитьgreat but your movement is bit hippy-style^^
Ответитьtry to keep calm in general, and between phrases, and try to build up a steady anxiety.
Technically you're there just keep calm and build up and afterwards....just show hurt and slow down.
Bravissimo! c'è l'anima di Schumann
Mi piace più di Argerich
you're genial!
ОтветитьAwesome as always! Greetings from Portugal!
ОтветитьI don't have a car, but I can buy one :D
ОтветитьDear WGBH, would you please marry me?
