Cyberpunk 2077 4K Ultra Settings Resizable Bar Performance Test | RTX 3090 | Ryzen 9 5950X

Looks like a vram and ram guzzler.
So if you’re running a mid tier card like 4070ti and still wanna run like higher texture mods and all that then you’d want to not run resize bar as you have to scrape all the vram you can. Plus 3-5 fps difference isn’t worth it.

I don’t see how you only have such a low FPS increase, but I get around 10-20 FPS increase

Excellent video! A bit off-topic, but we have the same GPU and I like the way yours dances around the 107% power limit without much throttling. Would you mind telling me your Afterburner settings? I am running an 893 mV @ 1920 MHz and +375 memory with decent results (paired with 5600X), but yours seems to be dialed in better.

I think the most important thing with the resizable bar are the min Fps right?

I have at least 10 fps more in average in cyberpunk using Psycho Ray tracing for the Global Illumination so I am almost shocked seeing 1-5 fps boost here. Using tuf 3090 with the 10900k though and the asus motherboard beta bios firmware that specifically said "improved resizable bar performance"!

Imagine if an error occur during the update on the GPU or motherboard BIOS (losing an rtx during a crisis because of an update 😂😂😂😂😢😢😢😭😭)

Resizable bar in Far Cry 5 (older game) drops performance by about 5% on a 3060ti & 5600k at 3k resolution. (2880×1620 custom setting). I hope all new games support it going forward.

Even with Alder Lake's release, please don't replace your R9-5950X.

Undervolting is a must on Intel and AMD, free perfomance improvement with lower thermals and power use, higher boost frequencies or more consistent.

You undervolt your Ryzen, in theory almost 10% additional CPU perfomance.

Resizeable Bra is a great idea

Do u have a custom overclock for your 3090? why is it running so cold? , I do use 2x360mm rads i9 10900k 3090 and cant get any results like u get in gpu.

On my system with 5900x and 6900xt i get at least 15fps boost with SAM enable! is good to know is working with Nvidea graphics card too! Nice stuff!

Is out in the wild hit the performance harder than in the city like gta5 for example when you are in area's with large volume of grass?.

I've got a 3080 and 5900x so if the above is worst case scenario fps wise I'd be looking at maybe a 5% drop which ain't too bad, but if it goes lower in battles or with areas of large people then I'll probably have to sacrifice a few things. I've refused to play it up until this latest patch and hope it's been worth the wait.

Any numbers for 1% Low and 0.1% Low by any chance?
I ask because watching your video the difference is only about 1-2FPS which is negligible.
