What type of oil for the oil bath? I did not like the oil bath as it it started fuming. I had to turn down as I thought it might catch fire like a chip pan fire. I set my flask 1mm above hot plate and rapped foil around bottom and I managed to get it working. What temperature dose oil catch fire is there different temperatures between eg clutch and break oil, engine oil, gear box oil, refrigerator oil. Interesting

Good stuff, I am new to this but catching on quick.
I have access to high grade silver ore and need a lot of this acid to refine it, due to restrictions and cost, this seem to be a viable option.
I took a sample to a coin shop and it tested out at .99 pure silver.
The guy's eyes bugged out when he read the meter.
I was told that on average the silver ore was about 80% silver and 20% lead.
I want .999 or .9999 fine silver.

A few moments ago a friend bring kno3 and h2so4 to make kno3 for him, he need it around 50% for silver recovery, when i done its come out around 95% hno3 i gave it to him saying its much more strong and you need dilute it before using.. a day letter i received message form him the acid what you give to me is so poor.. I think is less than 10% because i trying to dissolve copper and its nothing happens 🤣🤣🤣its so weak..😂🤣🤣so i send this video to he and saying its not reacting with copper not because is so weak but its because its so strong .. watch this video to can understand the fact..;)
