2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe | The Best Engine To Get?

Sorry to comment on a one year old video--but how does this only fit four 24" roller bags when the Toyota Rav4, which has the same stated rear cargo volume, can fit 6 without messing around with "underfloor" storage? It's just wild to me that a vehicle as "big" as the Grand Cherokee can only fit 4 medium roller bags like that. Is it because just one or two extra inches in one direction or another would make all the difference toward packing in 1-2 more bags? If you see this, I'd love a response!

I am not a fan of EVs and purchased a new '22 Grand Cherokee L Overland with the V6. With Jeep offering 10% off sticker and dealers discounting even further, I traded in the gray whale on the 2 row '23 Summit Reserve 4Xe. I really appreciate all of the details that you went into about the plug in and I had to make room in the garage for charging, but I am liking it so far and using little fuel, even on the freeway @ 75 mph. Color me happily shocked.

Hi Alex, thanks for the video. If I understand correctly, the JGC 4xe is not a traditional hybrid vehicle. My question is this: is there a drive mode that blends gas/electric to further optimize the MPG beyond the 23mpg? I think of it in terms of a Toyota Highlander that achieves 35mpg.

How does the way Jeep calculates the MPGE/MPG compare to the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV? Would love to see more of a comparison between the two.

The difference between the Jeep and the BMW is reliability and cost of services after the Warranty expires. One German Vehicle, Audi, is one too many! You mentioned the decibel rating is 70 at 50 mph? Mine is 54.4 at 55 mph, why the big difference? Only my idiot neighbor would take a Grand Cherokee off-roading as he did his 2021 Overland, it fell 25 feet and destroyed the body. I am surprised he can get insurance, but he got smart and bought a Wrangler for that kind of driving route.

I had the previous gen with the v6 and the new 4xe power is a very nice upgrade! Love the extra power. I don’t plug in a lot, but still worth it to me if you can buy at a good discount. Smiling ear to ear.
