Punchline: the film opened the same weekend as "Lyle, Lyle Crocodile," a film with a $50 million budget that took in $111 million.

Well, David O'Russell sure knows how to tell
the story in the movie language.
Enjoyed it all the time. And got informed at the same time too.
Didn't know what happened between tvo World Wars in USA,
something that could change the history and the life that we
have now for worse.
Actors are great - Margot Robbie...Christian Bale is awesome....
Highly recomended to watch.

I often wonder how A list talented actors with small parts in a disjointed script manage to act finding their place in the 'storyline', especially when the storyline is a boring puzzle even when watching the finished product. I mean what was Robert Deniro thinking about getting ready for his scenes, how he can use the money to help his kids or add another three car garage onto his house in the Hamptons? Oh and by the way unless your a fan of costume design or set lighting you can skip this movie.

A very good movie, very well done! A lot of interesting fact tidbits woven into the story such as the Vril Society and the use of Heroin dropped into the eye balls! Yes! Bet ya didn't know that Hitler was a drug addict and was high as a kite when giving his speeches??!! Anyway, not a movie for you if you don't like this director's
Style or some social commentary. Good entertainment, great job by all and thoroughly enjoyed it!!!❣️🔥✨️🙂

I loved this movie — just finished watching it for the second night in a row, that good. I found the first time I had a hard time following the story... I always felt a step behind understanding what was going on. I think if they added some character name captions on screen as they appear that would have helped a lot (they do it with some random dudes at the end that didn't matter). Such a treasure of a film tho! Historical, rich, comical, lovely.
