I've been seeing the How To /Tutorial structure a lot more recently while doing research. And I consider it a sub-category under Educational style ads. 👍

Personally, how I structure How To /Tutorial ad scripts are more literally showing steps and injecting benefits along the way. (Ex: Heatless Curls - "How I get perfect curls overnight (in 4 steps)" > Creator doing a simple, clear demo step by step.)

I love the First Day ad's "How I eat 12 fruits & veggies in 10 seconds" but I'd consider the ad to be in the general Education > Storytelling category since it has super visual storytelling.

For the "6 tips for clearing up your skin", I'm a little torn about this one haha. I'd consider it as Education > Listicle type content since it's more about giving tips.

I am planning on testing more Negative Hooks for clients, maybe mixed with How To structures and having some fun with the copy.

Something that has worked really well recently is more of a still image thing, but also in a similar style as UGC.

Pictures of text. (kind of like the Post-it Note idea - but as a still)
So you would draw an ad and make a picture of it
Or write out a catchy text layover-style ad.

Also pictures of billboard ads with your ad on them, etc.
Or memes with signs etc.

Anything that breaks the standard of designed still ads or videos with added text.
