Fixed after tip #3 for me...thank you! Funny though- my Smart Stay was already set to off, so I just toggled it on/off again and rebooted and the camera is back to running. Fingers crossed!

I just use my Samsung S7 for a card game. I switched over to Apple SE. But my camera and flashlight stopped working on my S7. I ended up getting it to work after solution #5. Put it in safe mode, and then I deleted some apps that I recently installed. Wa La! It works.

Tried pressing around the S7 camera and rebooting twice with no luck, finally tried pressing directly on the camera itself - first time I gave medium pressure and rebooted, it didn't work, tried again with more pressure and it worked after reboot. Good luck to all. EDIT: 4 hours later and it is not working anymore. Repeated pushing the camera and reboot, it still won't work.

Big thanks. It is my selfie front camera giving me error every time. I have tried all possible fix I can find even reload a whole new system but can't believe the dirty old trick of banging the corner to my palm fixed it. Hope it can also fix my random crashing issue too.

My camera only works on Snapchat/ tiktok (apart from the selfie camera) so so strange/ annoying. My phone has hit the road I guess. Thanks for a great video anyways, you explain things very clearly.

None of these worked front selfie camera still not working.All tried.
Only help is if I clear cache and data after force restart the back main camera works well but as soon as I swap it for front it says camera failed.
Tried all 5
