I see only the hole and where is Big rock,,?
ОтветитьThe giant craters all over the earth are in fact not craters at all, have you ever wondered how a meteor could create a massive crater, then completely disappear?
The are water geysers, have a look at any natural hot springs, how the water pushes up and creates a "meteor crater". Exactly the same.
Jeff Bridges and Karen Allen filmed the final scene from Starman (1984) in that crater.
ОтветитьGreat video.... but....if it hit the Moon, with no atmosphere, what happens??? 1km or 50?
Ответить34 seconds into this, annoying host, trying too hard but didn’t engage my attention, yawn, thumbs down
ОтветитьWhen the teacher calls a meteor a meteorite, I change the channel. Bye
ОтветитьThere’s no such thing as a meteorite, stars are angels, and meteorites are just angels coming to earth, plus those craters are just from bombs going off, yes they had bombs since the fallen angels taught men how to make them…
ОтветитьRewatching Vsauce videos for nostalgic memories
ОтветитьI’ve been to that crater. So amazing.
Ответитьthats the giant geyser from the flood there is no space.
ОтветитьBreaking it up would diminish the concentrated impact probably 30% maybe a size 50% wood burner for the atmosphere blowing it to pieces would absolutely be better than having it hit in one solid piece
Ответитьis not etrxtreme sience
Ответитьthis is not true
Ответитьbooooooooooooooooo
Ответитьlots of "maybe" for "extreme science"
ОтветитьWhen it comes to comets...I WANT TO BELIEVE THAT THEY DISCHAGE ELECTRICY.
ОтветитьWifi air sat missile gen India nuclear Facebook.
ОтветитьWhere's the meteor? Could've been a craft like the Hollywood flicks.
ОтветитьTo be fair
Superman emerged from an impact crater in Smallville Kansas
this guy is perfect for any documentary, I could watch him all day, he really does a perfect job
ОтветитьMe excepting: Vsause, Jake here
ОтветитьUnrelated I know but I just remembered dinosaurs existed on earth and how awesome it is, Ok back to the video.
Ответитьif meteors burn up wouldn't it be more plausible that the metric tons of falling dust would bring the "seed" material for life through panspermia. A meteor strike on a foreign planet with life and throws material into the atmosphere achieving escape velocity. freeze dried genetic material just add water lol. just a thought. I love this channel, the videos keep me coming back to think.
ОтветитьSo the first 75% of the vid describes the growing sizes of asteroids and how much damage they each can do. Then you say that exploding a huge asteroid is not a good idea? Right after you describe how little damage smaller chunks make? Really?!
Ответить¿Do you think that the ☄️ that created Meteor crater exploded in the air and never touched the ground like it happened in Russia 🇷🇺 and Tunguska in 1908?
ОтветитьCheckout the Rock Elm metorite impact near Rock Elm, WI. This impact was less obvious for geologists to spot. It was roughly 4 miles wide when it hit 450-490 million years ago. It left behind an unusual looking mix of minerals that can still be spotted on the surface at Nugget Lake Park; although the most interesting things are most likely buried well below the surface. Also, Reidite was discovered at this location. "Reidite is a very rare mineral created when zircon undergoes high pressure and temperatures. It is commonly associated with meteorite impacts."
ОтветитьI didn't realise that meteorites fall to the earth at 90 degrees and so leave perfect circles
Ответитьi get to watch Vsauce for school? lets gooooo
ОтветитьActually looks like a tore off scab from a giant creatures skin. I personally don't trust our history from 100 years ago, let alone 50 million.
Utah Kid.......
*Meteor Hits*
Dinosaurs: Adios
Mammals: Bonjour
Hmm, tiberium
ОтветитьAin't wrong, though majority that hit the earth don't cause major holes. Most are just 3ft holes or so. They're just too small when they burn up and break apart.
ОтветитьGREAT VIDEO 📹 👍 👏
ОтветитьBro can u support to my gaming channel only 1 k subscriber support 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 please 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏😘😘🥰🥰🙏🙏🙏
ОтветитьBro u r so great
ОтветитьCeres is my favorite celestial body in our solar system, I’m so glad he mentioned it!
Ответитьhere is the answer
BOOM
So where are the meteors?
ОтветитьHow many vsauces are there?
ОтветитьLove this video but its riddled with false information. 1st, the meteorite was estimated at 150 feet across. It impacted earth at 26,000 mph not 28,000 mph, and weighed 300,000 tons not 100,000. Lastly the crater is about 0.8 miles across. Not 1,320 feet...
Ответитьjust wow ............... nothing more can express my emotions
ОтветитьAmazing video , thanks for the informations 👍👍
ОтветитьAnyone else live near centrallia? No just me lol
