Man thank u for this videos are the best
ОтветитьQuestion: I didn’t see how you deal with the piece that goes along the top of a window or door when you have to rip it. How is that done?
ОтветитьLoved both videos! Great to learn from a pro!
ОтветитьFor windows is there a channel you install or do I need to purchase a window with channel already attached? Who might make such a window? Thanks
ОтветитьThank you it's been a few years since I've done viynal siding these were great refresher videos 🍻
ОтветитьGreat stuff!
ОтветитьGo over around window trim pieces again
ОтветитьHow do I start the first row of siding if two walls meet but the one wall has to start about 3 inches higher. I either have to cut the top or the bottom off. If I cut the bottom I won't have a starter strip.
ОтветитьGreat job explaining professional work
ОтветитьYou are an excellent instructor, thank you.
ОтветитьOctober 28 2023 when you install the 4" sealer around the window opening does it go on top or beneath the house rap
ОтветитьGreat Job man! You're definitely a great teacher. I was able to knock out my dormer in no time after watching this!! Thanks bro!
ОтветитьHey I enjoyed this video...I LOVE how y bring items into the camera so we can see clearly what you're doing. I appreciate this so much. Very informative and great for everyone all skill levels.
ОтветитьExcellent video and answered the questions I was needing to finish my siding. Thanks
ОтветитьGreat info video bro. Hey listen are you around the Carolinas? Thanks
ОтветитьGood job josh .. Thanks for the video.
Ответитьthat scaffolding needs about three more boards to make a little safer to walk on and make your cuts.
ОтветитьPoor filming when siding the peak of gable end. Can’t see what you’re doing at all
ОтветитьGood Day! Is there anything special that needs to be done for siding on the sides of a window and above a window? I'd also like advice for siding around a door and above a door as well. Thank you so much!
ОтветитьCan't see what you doing
ОтветитьFor your gable end take a scrap peice with no factory on it put it up and tight to the gable then measure your distance. The distance you get will be the distance you measure off the top a lot easier and faster
ОтветитьFINALLY! THANK YOU!! I have been searching high and low about finishing the top row of siding under a soffit with a bird box. I originally installed my F channel the wrong way and had a difficult time finding the correct way / trim.
Ответитьonly question is about the electric meter box, because the glass globe of the meter sticks out so I am assuming I use underscore channel around the perimeter of the meter box, correct?
ОтветитьGreat teacher
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьMuy bien explicado, aunque mi ingles no es muy bueno se entiende perfecto.construí un segundo nivel en mi casa y solo me falta la instalación del siding ahora con tus videos se me hará mas facíl, eso espero.
ОтветитьGreat job. Looks nice. Well done on the video. The SNL smile at the end of each segment was a nice touch. ha
Ответитьwhat's the best way to stagger the seams going across? I don't like the look of stair steps when you simply take the remainder of last row and use it to start the next row.
ОтветитьAwesome 👍🖐
ОтветитьI was wondering where did you get a siding like this one
ОтветитьThank you for the video. I doing a small redo project. This was perfect for me.
ОтветитьHey the excellent laborer do you come work on people home for them where are you located I'm in Georgia ❤
ОтветитьJ channel work needs to be better.

ОтветитьSay 7 12 one more time
ОтветитьI’m siding a house that has cedar shingles in hey cut the sills place is in rough shape owner doesn’t have a ton of money got a quote for 33k but honking of running strapping up and down he doesn’t want to strip the house even thought that’s the best option any ideas
ОтветитьAny Visio on side wall/ roof house wrap to step flashing. Do you tape house wrap on top of flashing and leave J channel 1/2 in. Above roof?
Ответитьplease a video how to make the boxes or dovecotes, greetings and blessings
ОтветитьThank you so much for the knowledge. Of your trade. I have done lot of wood siding.
Now in my 45 years of the building trade. I'm teaching my self how to do vinyl siding.
Your presentation was excellent. I will go back your site for more vinyl siding tips.
Hey Josh question I'm doing a garage 10ft walls what is the correct way to do the corner my corner is to short to go past the bird box ty
ОтветитьBeautiful Video, I would like to know where can I order the vinyl siding from
ОтветитьThanks for the video. Could you tell me the brand name of the siding that you're using? I like the look of wider siding. Also, I purchased a fixer upper that has wood siding. Would it be best to remove wood siding?
ОтветитьI’m currently doing windows and siding on the house about to get to the siding part and ordering all the parts I need. With the new construction windows with the integrated j-channel, do you need to add anything to the sides and top of the window or is it just the undersill on the bottom?
ОтветитьThanks for the video and explained everything
ОтветитьThese are outstanding videos! Thank you for taking the time to share your expertise and knowledge. I’ve been doing woodworking for many years (mostly home projects from my garage shop) and was always interested in learning about vinyl siding. My house could use a renovation to this end and after watching, it seems like a project I could handle. May sound crazy but what seems to be the biggest challenge is contending with scaffolding and that whole element. Wondering what it would cost to rent and how long it would take one person to do a two story house. Probably a job that’s a bit too much for me.
ОтветитьSo if it all is nailed to be able to slide what stops a person From using silicone on the joints so Those pieces don't get any water behind it from blowing wind not to the building I'm just talking about Siliconing the overlap.
ОтветитьI am starting a new job tomorrow and first time siding work so I am definitely a beginner. Thanks Josh you are very good at teaching
ОтветитьGreat job!
ОтветитьThanks for all the tips and tricks. My only suggestion would have been nice to see what you install and how to cut it around windows and doors. I know some people will use J-Channel and cut the corners in a way that it folds around the corners as one piece which creates a perfect corner just never had someone explain it and show it to me
