would love to record a guitar amp as usual but split the signal through DI, so the other signal gets converted to midi for crazy saxophon stuff.

I seriously believe that when there's a true instrument to Midi conversion, it'll change the game more than anything in while. It clearly seems super daunting that even this monophonic conversion is very impressive.

I tried it but it's not very good. if you play a very simple and very slow it might work for you but play a fast guitar riff at 120bpm or more forget it, it has no clue what's going on.
