Hello, I need your opinion. .For the last couple years, i have no luck in getting a good job. Finally, I got a job offer last week for job A and took the position I started this week on Monday.. However, 2 days ago this week on Wednesday, i got another offer for job B which pays more, about $7k more a year. Job A is a hybrid schedule that works 2 days in the the office while Job B is also hybrid schedule but have to work 4 days in the office. Job A has better medical insurance benefits than job B. I was working for job B previously for 4 years so i have seniority there if i take that that job while Job A is a brand new company. With all those factors said, which one would you take, Job A or B ? Also, i already signed the offer letter for job B because i didn't want to miss the opportunity and was thinking what if job A was a terrible job then i can go the job B. Do you think if if i back out of Job B because i like job A, it will look bad on me?

It won't come off as rude or unreliable. Companies will always put themselves first. Employees have the right to reserve the same concept.

I gave my first ever interview for a Management trainee officer position and was selected. They asked me which salary I expect and very naively I replied "I don't know". As a result they told what they'll be paying me. I said yes for the job. Had to sign the contract after a week. During the whole week thinking about it I realised that the salary will not even cover my travel expenses for the job etc. I desperately wanted to take this job but I literally had to pay from my own pocket to cover the expenses hence I said no for the job. I was feeling bad about myself for saying no to my first job. I have been repeatly called by the HR to tell her why am I not joining. I told her " due to my personal reason". She said I should let her know if she could help. Should I talk to her about the pay rise????

I havent sign anything, but I did say yes I would like to continue with the recruitment process ("accept offer" replied on wednesday), but the thing is that I was doing 2 processes at the time, and the other process will say if yes or no to me (which i feel is going to be a yes, because I did so well and also I can feel it) during this week, I dont know what to do, because the company that already offered me the job said "you have until friday 20 (last friday)", and I already said yes (because this is also a nice opportunity) but I dont know if I should ask them for a little bit more days, be honest and say I totally want to work there but im just waiting to hear from another opportunity that I would like to balance also, could you advice me please?

Thank you for your video. Very good point that if they wanted to fire you they would. I accepted a position but was then miserable doing the job for many different reasons that had to do with the job environment. I have the opportunity to change job roles, so I will now. I was having a lot of confusion as to what to do, but after listening to this video I realize that at the end of the day it's my happiness and the best choice for me that should matter
most.

I said yes orally to a very famous big company but after letting the night pass, I started to have doubts about them because of some shady elements that have been said during the interview.

So I respectfully sent an email to decline the offer. The HR called me back and literally threaten me, explaining this would have serious consequences on my career.

I was chocked because the person I had on the phone was almost screaming and If I tell you who it was, you would fall from your chair.

Very informative video. Thank you for making it.

Currently, I'm in a situation where in I have two offers. I submitted my resignation after receiving and accepting first offer letter 3 months ago. My joining date is this Friday. With three months notice period these days with most MNCs (in India) and as companies look for employees who could join immediately, I started receiving too many interview calls in last couple of weeks and received my second offer yesterday with much higher pay. Would it be appropriate to inform the company now who rolled out the offer first that I'm not willing to join their company? Or can i negotiate with them now based on the other offer that I've received?

I’m in this exact position right now. I got offered a position at a rehabilitation clinic and even negotiated my salary, and also signed my documents. But a few days later I got offered my dream job in a great location with a much higher pay. Idk how do bail on the other job 😬

So I recently accepted a position and now the HR department is being very vague about the cost of health insurance. They are saying that they just changed carriers. No transparency. What should I do?

I did that at a great company. I accepted the offer and then declined it the last minute. It was because personal reasons. They were frustrated. They never called me again. I tried many many times. After that and for 1,5 year i cannot find a job. It's like a bad spirit on me. It would be my first job and now i am helpless.

I declined an offer after accepting the role, because a different and better offer came up. I wish I watched this video and told them "Due to personal reasons, I will no longer be pursuing this role." Instead I was too upfront and told them I decided to go for another offer from a different company.

They did not take this well. They called me unprofessional and said this may have lasting repercussions. They kind of came off as threatening. I'm glad I dodged this bullet and pursed a job I'm truly interested in.

After working my ass off abs after clearing all rounds in interview I got an offer letter which was not what I expected so ask them review it, they put me on hold and didn't update me for the next week. So I have to call them for the update and what I got is surprising and sad. They don't want employ right now they are reconsidering whether to have the vacancy or not. This is the worse feedback I have ever received.
And I thinking about why I said them review it. I am angry, depressed and sad

I have accepted one job offer today and the joining date is 22 dec. , but the problem is I want to extend the joining date 1 to 2 week , as I'm appearing for good opportunity and the result will be declared on 30 dec. if I got selected in that company , can I rejecte offer letter even though extending joining date.
Is there any consequences I have to face or I have to pay penalty for that ??

Thank you for sharing 👍 I have a friend who was offered a job and a few days before she was supposed to start the company told her they canceled the position and decided to move the position to a different state. So, it happens on both sides and at the end of the day you have to do what's best for you
