Arma4 will probably arrive in 2025 otherwise reforged will be too long for a transition game, I give reforged max no more than 2 years

tbh 0 physic interaction with the trees suck hard for a 2024 game, also hoping for RT reflections.

We need a pitch black option back, AI improvements, more scenarios, and having a game master mode where you can invite friends only.

The reason why I didnt switch to reforger was simple, it lacks content for a person who enjoys the game in a singleplayer setting, the 917 hrs I have in arma 3 is from mods like Antistasi, Overthrow, Vindicta and so many more. Reforger looks awesome, the graphics especially and it seems to run really smoothly but the ugly thing is, it doesnt use steam workshop and it still feels like a shell of a good game, lots of bugs and issues.

Gta 4 had moving wheels and skids on helis so does gta 5 with moving helicopter skids , still nice effort from devs tho

what i'm missing with he helicopter is the effects of the blades on the environment

that game in the intro is legit, unique experience, needs work but theres tons of progress being done, first being unreal engine 5. so FPS will be tons better

If they aren't going to add jets and tanks into reforger they won't be in 4. Nobody is gonna move from 3 to 4 if your cutting content and this is coming from someone who WANTS to play arma.

lil tip: hold Y to enter game master, just a lit more slick than going into the menu
Also, if you press WASD while mounted you can clowly move where you're resting your rifle to get into a better position/fine tune around a corner for example

i would love arma reforger but so far it only has did me dirty its so fucking unstable it crashes like 5 times per hour and random kicks from servers because some back work shits busted also the performance isnt that much better than in arma 3 i run a amd 7950x and a 4090 and get about 60 fps on medium settings while in a3 i get on a full 100 player koth server around 90 stable

so awesome seeing them realize they needed a bigger and better engine and just doing it right

To be fair, they announced reforger and forge at the same time and I believe in that same reveal they had it for 2024

basic stuff still need to get into Reforged before it can take over, such as ability to change names and a proper mod manager system

The firing is much louder, and the flame is insane during the first 3 seconds. It also depends on the rocket type (which can be deduced from the pods it carries). Essentially it can fire 12 rockets a minute, which honestly is a rare view. The rocket doesn't kinda fall down and then launch, it goes according to the trajectory from the first moment. The rocket can be traced by the flaming tail, which is visible for a while
