Potato pankackes with muschroom sos we was eaten many years ago in our little town called Wodzisław! Theese pankackes called "Placki ziemniaczane po Wodzisławsku" ( in english: potato pankackes in Wodzisław style " ;) )
Polish restaurants are very good, but they often serve too "fancy" dishes. Simple foods are the best. For example, Italians know this well, which is why their cuisine is so popular.
Milk Bars serve the simplest dishes, those that Poles make at home. What could be simpler than potato pancakes which got 10/10.
Lubię Twoje filmy ale Twój wegetarianizm połączony z nieznajomoscia polskich smakow, zupelnie pozbawil Cie pelnej gamy smakow, jakie oferuje kuchnia polska, nawet jesli rzecz tyczy sie kuchni jarskiej (o wiele bardziej lubie TO okreslenie).
The thing is with "chlodnik" is that it's literally "cold beet soup" so the being cold is a part of it :D.
I'm polish dude living in London (over 20 years). I've been to Dominican Republic coupe of times. I can say lots good things about Dominican, but I will say this: If heaven exists it looks like Dominican Republic. Wishing you luck & stay safe.
Kucharek sześć a jednak można się najeść :D
Ответитьwhat you cut pierogi in half?
O mamo tyle żarcia ,to dla wojska chyba!!
Krokieta zawsze popijaj ciepłą zupą. Barszczem albo chociaż rosołem.
Some of the things on the menu may be not fully vegetarian. I suspect they used some animal-fats on some of the dishes.
Hello. Like others in comments great kudos for your polished polish, I watch your videos since a while, I like your comments, in majority of cases I didn't even realized, but you are so f*** right:). I know it has been already mentioned in other comments, but there is one thing that proofs you are not from here and which I personally cannot stand - eat with headwear. At the table take off your cap, hat or whatever you are wearing on your head. Other than that - good job, we are all happy you feel comfortable here. Cheers.
Funny story. We were in Poznan and trying to buy water. We couldn't understand what the woman behind the counter was asking. A young man behind us saw we were struggling and not knowing the proper words to use said "pssssh or no pssssh" as he mimicked twisting a bottle cap. We got it. Bubbly water or no bubbly water.
Do a video about traditional polish Christmas dinner (must be 12 dishes!)
Czapkę zdejmij ziomek! :D
My last travel to Poland I went to Milk Bar.
OMG, your polish is absolutely amazing. I respect it a lot, it's a difficult language. I'm also glad to hear that you seem to have had a good time. Nice, stop by again sometime.
Have a beautiful trip!
I love eating there since ypu get traditional polish food for very good prices. Nothing over fancyfied
Kucharek6 is not a Bar Mleczny in real i think :)
Damn, that mushroom sauce looks soooooooooooooooo delicious, also chłodnik.
Krokiety with clear barszcz is a bitchin’ combo. Also not having a gulasz on placki ziemniaczane - you’re missing A LOT. But hey - it’s your choice and it’s OK I suppose. Cheers, you’re doing great job with your filmiki.
Good look !!
Nice to see you again 🙂
What's wrong with you? Milk bars have delicious food but it's not for food-orgies of some stupid tourists but to help old poor people so that they have a proper meal per day, that's why they are partially state sponsored. Eat it, enjoy it, but don't be a prick and show some respect for food.
Krokiet you eat it will clear beet soup
I was confused you were going to a Milk Bar knowing you are a Vegetarian but as you noted lots of Vegan Options. I love Milk Bars and Americans/Military that come here I make it a point to go to Milk Bars. I have a large family so cheaper option. I would say though the best Pork cutlets do come from a Milk Bar ;). I love anything beets and cold beet soup is delicious plus the shredded beat salad. My go to at a Milk Bar. My kids will eat tons of Nalesniki. We have a crepe maker for making them. Most Polish, at least from my wife's family and myself only associate Milk Bars with communism because of all the restrictions during that time. Great input on the actual history. 👍 If you are in Krakow Tomasza Milk Bar near the city center is great. Irish guy makes the food and has an Irish/English Breaksfast that is like being in England and costs alot less.

Now I am hungry🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
ОтветитьU R GOD
Ответить"getting directions from a local babcia" mnie zabiło :)
Right now I think there are no bad milk bars because all the bad ones were closed many years ago.
Now I am hungry 😅
Milk Bars are the best and the prices wow!
I’m vegan and this was delightful to see, though I question the cheese and eggs that may have been used in a couple of these recipes. But, I’ve heard that there are many 100% vegan restaurants available there.
It’s hard to really impress JT, nothing got over an 8.5. 😅😂 Still excellent quality and as always, thank you for taking us along with you while you explore Polska. ❤️ 🇵🇱
Wow it was definitely a very appetizing episode 👌🤤🤤

Ответитьyou know whats up ddawg well done
Ответитьpychaaaa… jak u mamy ❤
A little cultural thing. It's common tradition in Poland to take off your hat when you're eating. It's like having a respect for the fact that you have something to eat? I remember my grandma saying "take off your hat when you're eating! Who are you? A Jew?" XD I know that today, especially young people does not care so much, but anyway. I also don't do it always when eating outside, but I think it's an interesting fact. Also when we are at having respect for food, there is this tradition of kissing a bread loaf if you drop it.
I will cite here part of a poem written by famous Cyprian Kamil Norwid:
Do kraju tego, gdzie kruszynę chleba
Podnoszą z ziemi przez uszanowanie
dla darów Nieba...
Tęskno mi, Panie...
For that land where a scrap of bread is picked up
From the ground out of reverence
For Haeven's gifts...
I am homesick, Lord!...
