I think Ortiz threw the fight. He knew a beating was coming in the coming rounds. You could see Mayweather starting to turn up the heat. I believe he knew Mayweather would hit him with his defences down. He stayed down long enough for the count to end the fight. He was no worse for wear after those 2 punches. And what the hell was Ortiz smiling about. He threw the fight.
