The bans aren’t 100 percent. There are quite a few things you can do online without getting banned. So long as you don’t pirate or cheat online. And so long as you keep up on your Nintendo online subscription Nintendo (probaly) wont ban you. I took a modded switch online in cfw on a daily basis since 2017. I’ve also done it with my OLED switch and not gotten banned

Steam Deck 100%. I have both (N-Switch and Steam Deck), so I prefer the Deck because I don't play online on the switch to care.

hit or miss with going online with hacked switch, if you pirated games and go online in those games then yeah so just best to use exosphere to block connection to nintendo and only go online in stock mode. although i have been able to go online with a hacked switch and still havent been banned

I had mine done in Australia, by the sounds of it I ought to count myself lucky.
Mine was $240USD on ebay for the switch OLED, $125USD for the modding. Arrived today, now I'm trying to figure out how to make the software play ball.

I brought a second one to have modded. I camp around often so the switch is my go-to for a timepasser.

Why do this when you can do all of this on a steam deck in 15 minutes for free without modding it which a steam deck can emulate switch games
